Ik was blij met We had a fantastic two-night camping stay and couldn’t recommend it highly enough! We stayed as a group of 12, wild camping on the field, and had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The location is perfect — nicely tucked away, peaceful and quiet at night, with lovely views all around. It really feels like you’re away from everything, with nothing but farm life and open fields surrounding the site, yet it’s still only a short drive or walk into town for shops and anything you might need. There are no showers on site, which we were aware of beforehand and wasn’t a problem for us. There are portaloos around the site, which were absolutely immaculate — very clean, well-kept and clearly looked after. Jo, the host, was absolutely lovely. Communication throughout the whole trip was brilliant. She would pop by in the evening to quickly check everything was okay and again in the morning when we checked out, but otherwise left us to enjoy ourselves and make the most of our time there. The field itself is really well kept, and we loved the fact that everyone takes their rubbish home with them, which keeps the whole place feeling clean and respectful. The atmosphere and general vibes were fantastic from beginning to end. We had such a great time and would DEFINITELY recommend staying here. We’d happily come back again!
