Ik was blij met The campsite was very relaxed. Having no music was actually really nice and peaceful. Mew, the owner was amazing and he went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. We wished we hadn't booked last minute because we missed out on putting in our order for his home made pizzas on the Friday night. The pizzas looked amazing and so many people were sat in his garden whilst he cooked them in the outside pizza oven. Our van had broken down 5 minutes from the campsite and he came straight out to tow us to the campsite. Then he dropped us to the station at the end of the holiday. Everyone staying there were very friendly but equally you could keep yourselves to yourselves if you wanted to. Each pitch had its own recycling area and its own firepit.. You could buy bags of wood if you needed to, at half the price it was in the shops. The showers were lovely and hot and the toilets had a great view and were very clean (especially for composting toilets). The view from the campsite across the valley was stunning We will definitely be returning and will be staying for longer!
