Ik was blij met Really good facilities, excellent shower and toilets all of which were kept really clean and available 24/7. Water points on the top level of the camping site and bottom level and a washing up station. The campsite is on a tiered grass area which gives excellent privacy if you want it. There are well maintained trees on each level giving more privacy to each tier and also some protection from the elements. There is a staircase cut into the grass embankment taking you to each level of the site. At night the staircase is lit meaning it's easy to get back and forward to your pitch. Swallow Falls itself is directly opposite. You won't need a white noise machine to sleep as the falls are right there! Though noisy it's pleasant and to be expected. And it masks the noise from the A5. The site is about a 30 minute (downhill) walk or 45 minute stroll to Betws-Y-Coed which is a great touristy village. Its a 20 minute drive to beautiful Ogwen Valley and the Glyderau and Carneddau ranges. And also the really fun Zip World. Only 30 to 40 minutes to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and Llanberis. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the Inn serves great food and drink. Parking on site is easy and when you check in to site you can validate your parking for free. Cost is really reasonable and works for doing your own glamping or even having a comfortable backpacking camp.
