Ik was blij met A large well organised holiday park. Ideal for families with lots to keep children happy. Very well stocked shop.

Ik was niet blij met The dog park whilst very smart is far too small for anything other than small dogs! We accept that the beach is dog free but booked because we saw the 'dog park' and wrongly assumed it would be suitable to allow free running. For anyone thinking of staying here with a medium/large dog please note there is no secure fenced area to let your dog run free. It would be really good if one of the recreational areas could be securely fenced. We used the area near the entrance/dumping ground - a large area with mown paths but not secure (open to the road).

Van de manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re pleased to hear that you found the shop well stocked and that you consider us to be a great choice for families. We’re sorry to hear that we didn’t quite meet your needs when visiting with your dog. If you’re looking for a more dog-friendly break in the area, we would recommend our sister site, Castle Brake. Located just a 13-minute drive from us, Castle Brake offers more of a dog-friendly woodland retreat, while still giving you the opportunity to visit us and enjoy all of our facilities. Kind Regards, Charlotte and The Ladram Bay Team

Ik was blij met Site is in a lovely position and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dog exercise field was great and also the 'eat at the retreat'.

Ik was niet blij met Although the shower block is modern and very clean there are a couple of things which would make having shower more efficient and pleasant. 1. As the weather had changed heating would've been appreciated 2. The water cut off is a little too quick, particularly when the block is cold. 3. There is nowhere to put shower gel/shampoo within the cubicle, a shelf would be helpful. 4. For those in a tent or camper without facilities the lack of privacy cubicles with wash basins is surely difficult. For example not everyone wants to wash their face/brush their teeth or do their make up in public.

Van de manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. 😊🌿 We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed our lovely location, well-maintained site, friendly team, dog exercise field and, of course, the Eat at the Retreat! 🐾🍽️ We’re also very grateful for your constructive comments regarding the shower facilities. 🚿 Your points about heating, the shower timer, storage for toiletries and additional privacy are all valuable, and we’ll certainly share them with the team for consideration - the heating is now on ready for the colder months so thank you! We’re always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience, and feedback like yours helps us do that. 💚 Thank you again for staying with us and for your helpful suggestions. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! 😊🏕️✨
