Ik was blij met Lovely site, toilets and showers were spotless and the addition of a washing machine and toiletries was a lovely touch. The pitches were clean and flat with stunning views.

Ik was niet blij met Hard standing pitches are right next to the road but it’s not busy, just a shame as it’s idyllic and so peaceful apart from the odd car. WiFi didn’t reach the pitch at all but good mobile signal.

Ik was blij met The view is always breathtaking, decent space allowed for each pitch, relaxed and remote site. Owners lovely and helpful and the general atmosphere is friendly and homely.

Ik was niet blij met No noise/time restrictions so hard to sleep sometimes if you’re next to noisy families. Toilets could do with a good deep clean (regularly mopped up but lids and hinges etc are a bit grubby)

Ik was blij met What a location! Gorgeous views, clean facilities and great hot showers. We had EHU and a lovely large pitch. Really nice atmosphere and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful.

Ik was blij met The pool was lovely, can imagine it would get very busy in peak season but was perfect for us as the park was so quiet! The play areas were nice too, just need a couple of swings etc replaced. We were in Idless field which was nice due to the open space in the middle, even when busy it would allow fo me free space for children to play.

Ik was niet blij met Lack of cleaning and maintenance. The toilets were not cleaned during our three night break, soaps not refilled, toilet roll still on the floor days later etc. Pool floor not washed either as sweet wrappers and other rubbish were still in place each day we visited. As the park was quiet this wasn’t a huge issue but any busier and it would have been. Our pitch was a premium, listed as having WiFi, water and drainage. We had zero WiFi signal, our tap post was knocked over so was unusable and the drain stank from lack of use. Luckily we used the next pitch for those but it was a shame when paying for the extras that we didn’t actually get them.

Ik was blij met The play area was wonderful and kept our children busy and happy while we set up/packed away! The site is very well kept and toilets etc were always clean and tidy. The utility room was good too, fridges and microwave etc available to use free of charge. Easy access to Padstow and Newquay etc so a good location.

Ik was niet blij met Our extra large pitch only just fitted our tent and car in, which meant we were very close to neighbours and that in turn meant we got very little sleep as we had people three foot away drinking and being loud until 11:30 two of the nights. We heard one family be asked to quieten down on our first night by site owners after someone else had complained but sadly they carried on where they left off the following night! Noise is expected but the close proximity of other pitches made it rather intrusive.

Van de manager: Thanks so much for your review! We are sorry you were kept up by noisy neighbours - we do stipulate dead quiet after 11pm but usually most people are respectful of others and quieten down when we close the playpark at 9pm. We were made aware of the noise the first night and got out of bed to speak with them but did not have any communication to us that they were being loud the 2nd night. If we had known again we could have spoken to them. We are glad the children were kept entertained in the playpark and that you found all our facilities clean and tidy.
