Ik was blij met Esther’s warm welcome was our highlight, from the moment we arrived we were shown around and made to feel at home. Being able to use the sockets and freezer were a bonus! We took part in the vineyard tour and tasting which was really informative and you could really see the care that goes into the vines throughout the year to produce absolutely outstanding wine. The pitches have a beautiful view of the rolling hills, sunshine all day with a little shade from a nearby apple tree. Highly recommend for adult groups and couples.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing to dislike, the compost loos were our only worry when we read about them, however they were kept clean and tidy with tissue and hand wash topped up daily.

Ik was blij met Loved the garden at the Friday family fun evening, the kids loved the bouncy castle and trampoline. The views in the off grid camping were absolutely stunning, we also got some great celestial photos as there was minimal light pollution. The pitches are huge! We had so much space it was great. The kids could safely run around the off grid field and play football. The lady in the shop was so friendly, it was nice to pop in and grab a coffee first thing.

Ik was niet blij met £20 to hire a fire pit was steep, these are usually free in other campsites we’ve been to. The doors to the toilets were broken, some didn’t lock and some were completely shut off. Would have liked some closer toilets to the off grid camping. When I went to the family night, I ordered our bbq choices at the shop. When I went to collect from the bbq I asked the server for please no onions for my sons burger, the guy doing the bbq had just put them on and slammed his spatula down quite aggressively at hearing my request. I was really uncomfortable so I just said don’t worry about it I’ll pick them out. Didn’t like that at all.

Ik was blij met Entertainment staff were great with kids.

Ik was niet blij met Showers and toilet facilities filthy, not just well used as you would expect in high season but clearly weeks of grime. All need a good jet wash. Vile. Swimming pool closed, shrugged shoulders when asked when it might be open again. Arcade only open from 5pm. We left after the first night, I cannot stay somewhere where you feel cleaner before you shower.

Ik was blij met Wow. What can I say, Paul and Trish were amazing from the moment we arrived, so welcoming and helpful. Paul gave us a tour of the site and pointed out the very handy electric kettle! A cuppa was so needed after a busy day exploring and it was nice not to have to wait for the gas in our van! We travelled with our 5 year old son who is animal mad, Paul took the time to walk him round all of the animals and then invited him to meet a baby duckling just 2 days old. Our son also helped collect the eggs and feed the animals the next morning. The dogs on site are ever so friendly and very well behaved. Trish kindly gave our son some leftover bread to feed the ducks the next morning which he loved. The campsite itself is lovely! We stayed on the hard standing pitch, which was next to a grassy area with picnic benches and communal bbqs which we enjoyed. Our son played with the multitude of garden games provided which gave us both some time to cook and organise dinner. The bathroom facilities are excellent, spotlessly clean and the family shower room is ideal. The shower is hot and powerful, exactly what we all needed after a long day. We all slept so well, the site is peaceful and relaxing. Can’t wait to book again, highly recommend. Our favourite campsite we’ve ever visited.
