Ik was blij met An absolute gem of a place! I haven't stopped talking about how amazing this place is since we got home! We stayed for 3 days over October half term and it was the most perfect 3 days away. The hut is so child friendly, warm and welcoming. So much space for the children to run free and play. Lots of things in the hut and the surrounding space for them to do and play with. Two pumpkins for the children to carve had been left for us when we stayed - a completely unexpected extra which was so appreciated by us all. It's so clean and welcoming, stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. A lovely cosy retreat and escape from the world. We spent our evenings together around the fire star gazing. It's within easy distance of surrounding places to explore during the day. We will definitely to be back!

Ik was blij met The owner of the campsite was really friendly, greeted us and made us feel welcome. He showed us to the available pitches, which we had a choice of and gave us a sheltered one. He is also really laid back and gave us some good suggestions of where we could go to walk the dog. The site is really dog friendly - it was the first time we had taken our dog camping and he loved it. The on-site facilities were really good and clean - whatever time of day you went. Both the showers and toilets were modern. The showers were really hot and powerful and I never had to queue all week, there was always plenty available. On site, there is a small honesty shop, which a good selection of essentials. We will definitely be returning!
