Ik was blij met The pitch was a brilliant size. The wardens were friendly and helpful. The toilet blocks were clean and plenty of space for a busy site. The site was lovely and we really enjoyed are staying. The shop was well stocked and the fresh strawberries were delicious.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing to dislike on our stay.

Ik was blij met We enjoyed every part of the holiday. It was peaceful at night, kids loved the pool and water slide. The fishing was great. Helping with the animals in the mornings was a highlight to the start of the day. The shop is well equipped for all your needs including caravan and camping supplies. All the staff were kind, helpful and easy to approach. We will definitely return again this was a brilliant break.

Ik was blij met Site was clean, tidy and has large spacious pitches, clean toilets block and good laundry facilities.

Ik was niet blij met Not advertised on main website or pitch up but Fishing is paid for and not easy to access with steps to the river bank being worn away. The site has rules in place including no cycling or scooting around the park except to the play park, these rules where not being enforced as children of all ages riding all over people's pitches, in to cars and in to my two year old daughter. Groups of people playing next to the river making loud noises till early hours in the morning. Groups of people sitting outside with music and chatting till early hours in the morning. The pub advertised on the sites main website is closed and reported by locals has been closed for a few years. Overall it was a let down that rules where not being enforced and wardens just don't want to upset anyone by enforcing rules, people just doing what ever they like with no consideration of others using the site.

Van de manager: Thank you for leaving your review, we are very disappointed with the comments. You have helpfully put on pictures of the information supplied in your welcome pack. This pack has local information for you and includes information about fishing and prices. The access to the river has handrails to assist getting down to the river, we have been busy this week starting , digging out and repairing the access but this is a work in progress because of the different levels of the river causing previous work to erode. We are pleased to say as part of the David Bellamy pledge, we are restoring the local Eco system at the Riverbank. Your picture shows the information on children cycling and we also have signs up, it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their children are safe and following the instructions. We allow the children to ride slowly to the play area and this weekend weather permitting we are hoping to open our new bike riding area for the children to use. We ask our guest to be quiet after 10am and to be considerate of other people if sitting outside enjoying their evening. If you had come to reception with concerns about noise issues late at night while you were here, we would have monitored this and spoken to other guest if we felt this was a problem Sadly the local pubs have closed and reopened a few times, we will have this removed from our Webpage thank you for pointing this out to us , we have been so busy that we had overlooked this . All our guest are here to enjoy their holiday in their own way, it is important to us that everybody has a good a time . We are sorry it wasn’t for you .

Ik was blij met The staff on site where very welcoming and helpful. The site was clean and well kept. The animals and walks were lovely and the children enjoyed the fishing and the animals alot. They have a lovely bar area which serves food if you wish and a little shop you can use if you need. The park is lovely for the kids to run around in and burn more energy off.

Ik was blij met The pitches great size. Lakes were beautiful and lots of giant fish to try and catch. Site was clean and well maintained

Ik was niet blij met Last night of holiday a big group made a large disturbance all night till past midnight. Needs better monitoring on sight during night time to prevent disturbances.

Ik was niet blij met The noise from the other campers. Older children running behind and around are tent and other people's caravans pulling out the electric hook ups. Older children ignoring the rules in the swimming pool by booming and jumping in the pool nearly landing on my 5 and 3 year old and sitting in the Jacuzzi with baby's.
