Ik was niet blij met Not the site’s fault but we Found rubbish and many tent pegs left in ground where we usually park up Shame the site closed at end of October for non electric hook up bookings We would love to camp over winter but do not need hook up

Van de manager: Thank you for your loyalty in choosing to stay with us and that you enjoy your visits. I do not work on a Wednesday or Thursday to help with the clearing of rubbish left behind and maintenance must have been busy elsewhere to check the fields, apologies for the litter left lying around. It would be nice if one field could be available for winter use, however if there is a lot of rain some of the fields are at risk of flooding. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Ik was niet blij met No security roaming site Cars speeding on fields /kids speeding about on electric bikes This site is usually nice and clean but went to use toilets Monday morning some little muppet had filled all with paper Understand not the site but with lack of someone on fields all the time . People have free run to abuse what is usually a good site May be we made mistake going over bank holiday

Van de manager: I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay this time. We are not able to patrol the fields all of the time, when we are made aware of any issues we do rectify them. On a Saturday and Sunday I drive around the fields several times and I did stop several drivers not adhering to the 5MPH speed limit. I spoke to the parents re the electric bikes (electric bikes have now been banned) however some bikes are from youths in the local area getting access from the river. You may have read one of my replies where I actually banned a group of 3 pitches from returning. Hopefully your next visit will be problem free.

Our ice cold drinks are priced at £1.50 per can similar to prices everywhere else if bought solo, we do not have enough room to stock packs of 6 or more, if we did they would work out cheaper but would need to be put in a fridge once bought to cool down. Guests with fridges are more than welcome to bring their own or buy locally. We look forward to seeing you again.
