Ik was blij met We’ve just returned from the most wonderful long weekend! From the moment we arrived, Lisa and John made us feel so welcome – they are genuinely some of the kindest and most accommodating hosts we’ve ever met. Our son has special needs and an absolute love for animals, and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for him. The site itself is peaceful and never felt crowded, which made the whole experience relaxing for us as a family. The pitches were a fantastic size, giving everyone plenty of space without feeling cramped, and the views from the site are absolutely incredible. Everything was easy to access too, making it really straightforward to get settled in. The animal interactions were the highlight – from watching them up close to petting, feeding, and even enjoying a little tour to meet more in the nearby fields. Lisa and John went above and beyond to make those moments special for him, and he was absolutely thrilled. The location is ideal too: tucked away enough to feel calm and quiet, but still close to nearby towns when you want to explore. On a clear night, the stargazing is breathtaking – something not to be missed! Plus, the cycle path that runs right behind the farm is perfect for long walks or bike rides, stretching for miles through beautiful surroundings. All in all, it was a truly memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return.
