Ik was blij met Very friendly proprietors: Amy was very welcoming when we arrived. Laid back simple site with loads of space. Generally, this is all we need (don’t necessarily need all the bells and whistles of the larger sites). Essentially a flat rectangular field surrounded by a hedge. Rained whilst we were staying, but no problem with drainage. Occupancy (max No of tents/pitches) limited by the proprietors to keep it a relaxed and spacious feeling site. Very rural feel to the location (quiet spot, and very dark at night). Pub (with a simple food menu) a short distance away (with pedestrian pavement next to the road throughout) - take a torch if attending after dark! Very well maintained and clean facilities included an inside washing up sink, fridge, and an excellent shower.

Ik was niet blij met Signage into the site was very minimal- we drove passed initially. I’m pleased that I checked what it looked like on Google Maps prior to arrival. It’s a small site, aimed at a low occupancy, so this may seem nit-picky, but having a separate toilet to the shower would be an improvement on the current combined (but otherwise, excellent) facility. if someone is already in there having a shower, you may need to cross your legs while you wait for access! Other than the above, it’s really hard not to like the place for a short stay.
