Ik was blij met Very small (7pitches) peaceful and tranquil site, fantastic. Lots of forest walks alongside the park with keilder forest in easy walking distance. Booked the site for peace and quiet and wasn't disappointed. Very quiet and spent hours just listening to the sounds of nature and an owl at the end of the day. Best toilet block I've ever seen, rustic built with locally sourced timber but very clean and spacious. Showers are brilliant with not having to keep pressing the button and with plenty of hot water. Washing machine and dryer also available. Chemical disposal and motorhome service area. Lovely conversation with the owner, very pleasant and told their aim is to have a quiet and peaceful site which they sure have. Mobile signal not the best but it's not what I went for and the owners have provided a phone to use (free) in the nearby phone box which also has WiFi. TV signal quite good considering the location. Shame I could only manage 2 days but will definitely be back.

Ik was blij met Very spacious pitches. Facilities very clean and modern. Bar, games room, coffee shop and chip shop on site a nice added touch. The site is large, very clean, quiet and some stunning views across Ullswater. Plenty of local walks for all abilities.

Ik was blij met Very clean and tidy site whilst still maintaining a rustic feel amongst all the trees. Toilets, showers and dog washing facilities very clean and well kept. Lots of walks and trails from the site with Pooley Bridge within a comfortable and scenic walking distance.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing we disliked. Despite TV reception being poor there is TV points on each pitch which work really well.

Ik was blij met The understanding when unforseen circumstances we had to cancel our visit at the last minute. Didn't expect any refund but told I would receive a voucher towards a future visit. Great customer service 👍
