Ik was blij met This was a perfect semi-wild campsite, very basic toilet and shower facility. I loved the fact we had the place virtually to ourselves, only 1other couple who camped on the other side of the field to us. Perfect location for exploring the Tamar valley, plymouth, and the Rame peninsula and east cornwall. The owners are lovely and very welcoming, my children loved their sheepdog! Would recommend to anyone looking for a low key campsite.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing however it is basic in amenities, a rustic shower (hot water is available!) So it wont suit everyone.

Ik was blij met Friendly staff, small site close to town.

Ik was niet blij met Lack of toilet seats (i know it is not unusual, but still a dislike) and the use of electronic wristbands to control shower times to only 8 minutes per shower. 8 minutes is actually long enough but giving people a limit is annoying. The pool dis not appear very clean, nor the shower stalls, which regardless of the poor weather could have been better maintained. We stayed in a tent but it appeared the chalets/static caravans were really crammed in, i would have expected more privacy for the amount beung charged for a static.

Ik was blij met Sadly we were unable to travel to France due to changes in covid19 and quarantine rules. However the owner of this campsite was very understanding and accommodating and we have been able to use the booking next season. I disnt ask for a refund as i appreciate how difficult it must be for small campsites like this one to survive in current sitaution. We cant wait to visit Normandy next year and stay at this campsite!!

Ik was blij met This campsite is directly on the Elham Valley Walk, which we had completed this weekend so it was nice not to have to travel off the route before camping. The showers/bathrooms are clean, large with plenty of hot water. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't as noisy as first feared despite how busy the site was and being on a main road. Bus stops are immediately by the campsite.

Ik was niet blij met The bathrooms/kitchen washing up area dated but still functionable. There are no trees so no shade and the campsite is essentially a large field. Although the address is Elham, the campsite itself is some distance from village at about another hour walk via the Elham valley way. The main road is too dangerous to walk along as no shoulder and very fast cars, sharp turns etc. The Elham valley way is poorly marked between the campsite and Elham village so we had to rely in our OSmap. Nothing to do with the campsite but may be helpful for others!!

Ik was blij met Huge pitches, essentially had a thicket of woods to ourselves so felt isolated which was awesome. Very generous with firewood (wheelbarrow full for £5). Calm and relaxing site. Be prepared for the long walk from car to site so pack light but this is part of the charm. Be prepared to carry water some distance and to use a compost loo. Kids.loved the space to run and climb trees.

Ik was niet blij met Not the farm's fault but you can hear traffic coming down the road for a.long distance- motorbikes gearing up and down in middle of the night. The campsite was perfect for almost wild camping.
