Ik was blij met This campsite was absolutely fantastic! Caroline and Chris were wonderful hosts, fabulous with the children and so helpful, even bringing up a basket of tea and coffee when we arrived. The pitch is up quite a hill but there is an easier route available. Being at the top of the hill gave incredible views and made it feel very secluded. Also there was great phone signal which you don't always get camping! There is a footpath down the back of the pitch which didn't cause any issues, we saw a handful of people walking over the week. The facilities were better than expected, and Chris and Caroline worked hard refreshing facilities everyday. The area was great for exploring, a good base for places such as Sidmouth and Honiton. They even have an EV charger with a really good rate which we made use of. The children enjoyed foraging (ample blackberries available!) and sitting round the campfire. We had a really fabulous week and would highly recommend this site! I'm sure we'll be back!
