Ik was niet blij met The drop into the sea is steep, paddling to swimming is about 8ft so a struggle to get out, disabled beware. There is a nightclub near the site which finished on Friday at 05.15 so light sleepers it's a long night for you ! The electric supply is 6 to 12 amps I was lucky if I got 3amps, I did report this and was told " A man will be straight up to check " NOBODY arrived. Cash NOT accepted at check-in (pay in advance) in the shop or bar you are given a Camp Credit Card, I would NEVER use a card in a bar so NO Drinkypoos for me. 100 % CASH FREE site so I Wouldn't Evèr Go Back. ANTS EVERYWHERE 🐜. Wear a shirt in reception or you will not be served. Motorhome Services are "tight" over 7mts you will struggle or block the road the hose (too short) will come off, needs a jubilee clip a real pain. Finally on arrival DO NOT go into the site you must if in a motorhome BLOCK THE CARPARK. I had to get my wife to stand in the road with her Stick (Disabled) and stop the traffic to let me reverse across the road on a bend as the girl in Reception wouldn't let me pass the barrier to a wide parking spot until booked in. She watched a 70yr old Disabled Woman Stop All Vehicles by waving her stick !!!! I could not believe she did that. .

Ik was blij met BIG swimming pool, bar open most of the day, good pizza and home made pasta, well shaded, good beach, good FREE showers, good toilets, level pitches.

Ik was niet blij met Poor waste water disposal grill, poor gardeners, (I am a professional tree surgeon), life guard should be banned from bringing his phone to work, he was NOT DOING HIS JOB just playing on his phone and NOT WATCHING THE SWIMMERS.

Ik was blij met The pool was great and the food was well priced. Great pizza all at 9e or less, home cooked and BIG.

Ik was niet blij met The camping site is a carpark with toilet x 1 shower x 2 . The door to the toilet/shower will not close as the shed it's in is collapsing. Electric O.K. Never found the water, or chemical toilet dump (went in the toilet) or grey water dump. SWIMMING POOL IS 7.5e EXTRA/DAY. After cleaning in the morning the SAME EMPTY HAND WASH bottle was left neat and tidy in the toilet, unbelievable !!!!

Ik was blij met This campsite could be so much better. The bar and pool area is good also toilet clean NO FREE HOT SHOWERS. that's about all that's good!

Ik was niet blij met The Barman / Site Guide / Information Man (only speaks Italian) / The "follow me " to you pitch, Barrier Open/ Close man is Drastically Overworked, 12hr plus a day and doing the work of 2 x 25yr olds and must be 60yrs old, the cook who prepares excellent meals could be his mother ! I think to work people this hard at "age" is a disgrace. The WiFi is very poor to non existent. There are NO Site Services for campers, well all I found was an illegal old style toilet and nothing else. Could not find any clearly marked re cycling bins. Could not find any marked clean water taps. Showers marked FREE HOT WATER then a insert token meter. N̈O Site map/details given on arrival. Restaurant Menu in Italian Only, Site printed on home computer needs to be in Italian, English, German, and French with Photos. CONCLUSION ●VERY BAD MANAGERMENT.

Ik was blij met Toilet block good, long hose for water, that's about it.

Ik was niet blij met 19yr old "youth" in reception which was a small, semi-derelect, 50yr old caravan with his motorbike outside. He had NO computer, did NOT know we were booked in and the site was full a few hours later, good job we got there early, I expect the 4e tourist tax went in his pocket. The hedges needed trimming, there's NOT enough electric sockets, brick layers were re building a wall 3ft Behind our van, campsite roads POOR condition, some very STEEP, only ONE water tap, NO shop, NO village (bring plenty of food), NO direct access to beach (150yds up the road and down a lane to a TINY PUBLIC BEACH).NO WiFi I think! NO SECURITY, the binmen drove in at 5 AM ! NICE. NO bar. NO NOTHING. Everything was so 1970's and yes I have been there. NOT UP TO MODERN STANDERD, NOT GOOD ENOUGH, TOO EXPENSIVE. ONE STAR CAMPSITE. ADVOID, IF POSSIBLE.

Van de manager: Accettiamo volentieri le critiche, anche negative, purché siano giuste e veritiere. Ci dispiace che la tua esperienza non abbia soddisfatto le tue aspettative, ma vorremmo chiarire alcuni punti. Il nostro campeggio è immerso nella natura, cosa ben visibile sulla mappa che la maggior parte dei nostri ospiti consulta prima di prenotare. Non siamo vicini a centri commerciali perché ci troviamo in un centro storico, Orta San Giulio, noto per la sua autenticità, tranquillità e bellezza, non per la vita notturna o l'attività commerciale. I supermercati, tuttavia, sono a soli cinque minuti dal campeggio e facilmente raggiungibili. Per quanto riguarda la tassa di soggiorno, è un obbligo comunale, motivo per cui la riscuotiamo in contanti, come chiaramente comunicato. Al momento del pagamento viene sempre rilasciata una ricevuta, come previsto dalla normativa locale. Per quanto riguarda le docce e l'accesso all'acqua, invitiamo chiunque a venire a verificare di persona: ci sono due docce esterne e una fontana di fronte ai bagni. Non siamo quindi sicuri di come si sia arrivati alla conclusione che "c'è un solo rubinetto". Siamo un campeggio nuovo, aperto da soli tre mesi, e siamo lieti di accogliere gli ospiti anche sotto l'ombrellone, se necessario, senza alcun problema. Il nostro obiettivo è crescere anno dopo anno e continuare a migliorare la nostra offerta. Crediamo fermamente che la maggior parte dei nostri ospiti ci scelga per la pace, la semplicità e il contatto con la natura.Ci teniamo inoltre a precisare che non stiamo costruendo muri. Non abbiamo permessi per tali lavori e non ne stiamo realizzando. Le strade interne al campeggio sono facilmente accessibili con qualsiasi tipo di veicolo e non sono ripide, contrariamente a quanto detto. Infine, lavoro personalmente ogni giorno, con il supporto della mia famiglia e dei miei quattro figli piccoli, per assicurarmi che tutti i nostri ospiti si sentano benvenuti e a proprio agio. Per noi, pulizia, ordine e relax sono priorità assolute. Se qualcuno cerca bar, negozi o vita notturna, consigliamo vivamente di considerare una destinazione diversa. Orta San Giulio è un luogo tranquillo e storico, ideale per chi cerca natura, silenzio e autenticità. Vi auguriamo comunque il meglio e speriamo che in futuro possiate trovare un posto più adatto alle vostre preferenze. Il Team del Camping BellaVista
