Ik was blij met Highly recommend this campsite, run wonderfully by a lovely couple. We spent 4 rather wet days and nights here in July and, as what I'd call 'not natural' campers, we had a good time. The owners have thought of everything: decent coffee, a well-stocked shop, pizza oven pizza, soft play, fire pits, and booze. On wet days and evenings, kids can enjoy soft play, tie dye t-shirt making, or film nights, and adults can hide in the cafe/bar, open until a reasonable 8pm (8.30pm on weekends). And when dry, there's no real need to leave the site, and if you do you can cycle to nearby spots with ease. The site is well-maintained, spacious, and quiet. We were fortunate to arrive on a week when they were only at 30% capacity, and our pitch was at the far end of the site, so very peaceful. It does fill up though, so I'd imagine it's a different vibe when full. That said, having chatted to the owners, it sounds like they just work ten times harder when it's full, rather than letting things slide!
