Ik was blij met Friendly campsite, pitches great, food at cafe good, facilities good. Lovely kitchen with microwave, kettle and toaster and little library.

Ik was niet blij met Showers last about 30 seconds on the button which is a tiny niggle!

Ik was blij met Big field, beautiful views, ground good for pegging. Little shop was helpful, friendly owner. Fire pits available as a kit for £10, bag of logs was surprisingly big and plenty. Car park for additional cars is handy too. This site is on a hill so sacrifice a bit of level ground for beautiful views of Weardale!

Ik was niet blij met Facilities a bit tired but functional. Second night music continued on past midnight but always expected on a sunny evening and hard to police.

Ik was blij met Lovely stay as always. Toilets clean. Communication great. Fab fire packs. Pitches clearly marked and free from debris. Heather was great when we couldn’t make our planned trip due to illness and was incredibly accommodating. Heather also went around the camp site helping people pitch in wind which was a lovely touch. Above and beyond!

Ik was niet blij met No fault of owners, but some music went on past the quiet hours. Expected on a Saturday evening.

Ik was blij met Loved no extra charge for a second car or dog. Milk on request was lovely and went well in our cuppas. Kids loved running through the longer grass with the dog and playing hide and seek. The main area of camp site was short grass and very obviously marked out. Liked the fact there were fire pits available to use for the obligatory s’mores! Toilets really clean and water replenished often. Ground easy for pegs too. We’re already planning our next visit!
