Ik was blij met On arrival we turned into what looked like a timber yard with no signage to the campsite. Once we turned into the camping field there was no one to welcome us, no map of where to go, it was just a free for all. Now, I would of been happy with this if we had got the confirmation email that pitchup.com said we would receive, but didn't. We pitched our tent and got on with our day, but not before clearing up everyone else's dog poo!!!! The toilets are a complete state, no hand soap, hit and miss if someone had peed on the seat, lack of loo roll, filthy sinks and to be fair the whole area needs a weed and a bin for all the rubbish thrown on the floor. (someone need to check this area on an hourly basis) The big general bins were all full and overflowing. The shop was a joke... Empty! Glad we bought our own bbq stuff and didn't rely on that shop to provide or we wouldn't of had any dinner. The site is noisy with a big water slide on site and a bar, everyone enjoying themselves, it did quieten down come bed time. Not once during our stay did we see anyone..... we could of just not paid,turned up ,camped and gone... no one would of noticed. We didn't feel like we were valued as a guest!!1/10

Ik was blij met A lovely warm welcome from Cathryn ( the owner) upon our arrival. She showed us to owl hoot ( our pod) which was well equipped with fresh towels, bedding and a whole aray of cooking gear you could possibly want, right down to microwaveable bed warmers ( not that these were needed because it was lovely and warm). Toaster, kettle, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker and toastie maker were all available within along with a fridge and umbrellas. The shared facilities were clean and the shower was piping hot. The site has a small shed shop which has jam, eggs and smores kits and disposable bbq's. Honesty box payment. The pod decking/ patio looks straight at Skyfel Pike which is just beautiful with the sunset or low lying cloud upon it. You can even see the 3 peaks challenge people coming back down via head lights late in the evening. We loved our 2 night stay so much we booked another night. We will definitely be back.

Ik was blij met Showers and toilets were spotless. No noisy crowds and nice and quiet at night. A good mix of people and ages. All the people we met were polite and friendly. The man/owner at reception was polite and friendly and easy to apriach with any questions. 10/10. Will be returning.
