Ik was blij met Large and spacious site Separate bathroom facilities for men and women which were very clean and well maintained throughout with lots of hot water etc. Sandwich/bar area with free wifi for those addicted amongst us. Add the very helpful reception into this mix and it was a lovely place to stay within an hour from Santander before touring further afield. There’s also a lovely “local bar/café” just over 10mins walk from the site (on the small road that passes the village) which was recommend by reception and well worth a visit.

Ik was blij met Ignore directions on Pitchup.com and whichever direction you arrive from turn up the road OPPOSITE the FIRESTATION on the roundabout. A nicely run, medium sized campsite with well laid out pitches with many separated by small hedges to separate each from the next. The mixed washrooms were excellent, very clean with lashings of hot water. There was a local vendor selling fresh “Moulles or duck kebabs and frittes” by the office (which were excellent!) However, I’d suggest you make sure you bring something for lunch/dinner with you!

Ik was niet blij met Not as close to the beach as the pictures suggest, is a little remote with only one close restaurant off site for meals (which was closed on my visit when the restaurant website said it was open!)

Ik was blij met Le Riva Bella offers a lot of pitches which are reasonably spaced apart and ideal for a single night stopover especially if you have your own washroom (campervan) Easy check in and in my case early morning exit. For those travelling “self-contained” the Riva Bella is an option worth considering, but if you need to use “their washroom facilities” than maybe consider other options?

Ik was niet blij met The site is clearly let down by the very poor state of the washroom facilities which urgently require updating (and more regular cleaning!)
