Ik was blij met I stayed here with my sister for two nights. We hiked locally and we shared the good size double bed. It was an idyllic rural retreat close to local walks in the Forest of Dean. We were made to feel welcome. The accommodation was private, in its own area of land with parking for two vehicles. It felt safe, secure, private and peaceful. We were self-catering and shared the food preparation. There was a choice to eat inside or outside, with excellent rural views. The kitchen and dining area were equally set up for cooking from scratch if you wanted to, or heating up ready meals. The fridge/freezer was an adequate size for two people on a weekend stay. There were also ample recycling bins in a closed container near the parking area. The whole place felt surprisingly spacious for easy living. Everything had been carefully thought out before we arrived, with heating and hot water ready. The view from the double french doors was inspiring, particularly at sunset. The WiFi signal was strong and there were two TVs (bedroom and living area).
