Ik was blij met A large level field with a river on the boundary. I found a spot under a large oak tree next to the river and enjoyed 2 peaceful nights. i was able to "reserve" the spot when I visited Chartwell . Very helpful staff who went the extra mile to provide some eggs after the normal supply had been sold. There was a fair bit of aircraft noise on one of the evenings which stopped around 11pm. Formations of geese over-flew a few times chatting loudly which I enjoyed watching. Mains tap water, washing up facility and toilets all well maintained.

Ik was blij met Plenty of space and reasonably level pitches. Good clean toilet facilities. Friendly helpful staff.

Ik was niet blij met Difficult route to site. quiet time 10 pm to 8am was flouted by group of women played loud music as late as 0015am

Van de manager: Dear Bruce, on your arrival I mentioned a group of women cyclists in the next field may be an issue with noise?, they were talking around the campfire for most of the evening with no music or loud noise , the music came from a party a few miles away in that direction , I to at first thought the same as yourself, the group were also not to pleased, this is the first time this year it’s happened!, I’m afraid I could not rectify the situation, I’m so sorry this happened also apologies for not contacting you the next morning,regards Mike.

Ik was blij met A quiet spot with lovely views. Portable loos, water and rubbish disposal all available. Tent pitches separate from the vehicles.

Ik was niet blij met All except 2 pitches for campervans on difficult sloping ground.

Ik was blij met Space and lack of noise. Farm shop was a real find for grass fed beef. Excellent toilets and shower.
