Ik was blij met What a lovely site! Well kept, spacious lovely pitches and a warm and friendly welcome. My grandson loved it here and can’t wait to return. Peaceful, nice people, lovely pool and I have already recommended the site to others. We will definitely be back!

Ik was niet blij met Price was a little more than we would normally pay and adding our two little Pomeranians bumped the price up further, which is always a bit of a shame as other than the field they don’t get to use the lovely facilities. Shame no bbq’s allowed as long as people are sensible with them and they are off the ground, big part of a camping experience. That said great layout, really good open and play area for the kids, close enough to keep an eye on them but far enough away so doesn’t disturb others.

In answer to your comment about not being able to barbecue here, I have copied and pasted below extracts from our T's and C's and from our FAQ's so as you can see in fact we entirely agree with you, barbecuing is fine here if done safely. "Charcoal or gas fuelled barbecues are permitted, if they are a safe height off the ground. We just ask that common sense safety precautions are taken and that if you are using the foil tray disposable barbecues that you raise them off the ground to prevent scorching the grass. There are some bricks behind the reception building, you are welcome to borrow some from there to use" We don't allow woodburning stoves and firepits due to the continuous smoke, hot ash and sparks generated by wood burning which poses a serious fire risk, especially in the dry conditions we are experiencing currently. Ik was blij met What a great little site, so pleased that we found it! We will definitely be returning. Welcomed by Sarah and guided to a small well kept field to one of about 10 large and serviced pitches. Small toilet and wash/shower room but clean and had everything you need and a few nice and thoughtful extras, these included washing up area, microwave, kettle, washing machines etc. the site also has a super cute little shop for all the essentials you might need that you have either run out of or may have forgotten, you pay into a honesty box for the items you use. The site has access to the pub (with its own touring site) next door and sits just back from Stithians reservoir, which has a large water sports centre and cafe. The location is central to the west of Cornwall, which means you can watch the weather forecasts and then easily get to wherever the sun is and the rain isn’t! Be that South, North or West coast, all within a 30 minute leisurely drive. I don’t want to shout to loudly about this site as it really is a hidden gem, and we selfishly want to be able to book again without it getting too crowded or expensive. For us it was perfect. Thank you and very much hope to be back soon.

Ik was blij met Everything! Lovely site, well kept. Warm welcome. Excellent shower, toilet and kitchen facilities. Views out to sea and the isle of Lundy ( from our pitch). Campfire and bbq allowed, dogs allowed (small charge) We stayed for a long weekend and can highly recommend.
