Ik was blij met Love this place, setting was amazing with the countryside and the lake. We had an awesome time messing about on the paddle boards and kayaks. The owner Dave seamed really chilled and gave lots of info and what to do where to go etc. We walked to the Ash pub via Catsfield using the 1066 footpath (about 5miles) lovely scenery and a cracking lunch. Return walk through Ashburnham place which is beautifully kept and well worth a look. All in all was just what we needed to escape the real world for a couple of days and would recommend to anyone wanting a break from reality or just to have a break in the country. We had place to ourselves as it was out of season so cant comment on how tranquil it would be in the height of summer with families and weddings going on but it wont take away from how nice the place is.
