Ik was blij met Location, facilities, the young lad and lass that we met that were working in site (I think one also runs the far out coffee shop)

Ik was niet blij met Exposed pitches, lack of ability to shelter from the elements meant that our reliable old tent met it's demise and we had to leave early. The ground was either solid rock, or like some mossy... woodchip-like consistency, pegs didn't want to stay in under the strong winds. The 2 electric pitches were situated on the top of an exposed hill also. Alright for a camper van if you can get the angles right. Beyond this - there was no policing of the quiet hours, Saturday night a group of young drunks were yelling and smoking what smelled like pot near our tent (where our 5 year old was sleeping/trying to sleep) past midnight, unchallenged.

Ik was blij met The isolation, the small size of the site, the facilities available, the friendly host, THE HOT TUB, how homely the place felt. Exceptional value for money.

Ik was blij met Convenient shower and toilet facilities. Excellent pitch size. Becka/Bex was wonderful, super friendly, chatty and literally couldbt do enough to help. The view from our pitch (field 1) was exceptional - can see st nectans church in neighbouring stoke, the ruins atop hartland quay and of course...the sea! Excellent location for exploring all the north of cornwall and all of devon. I dont normally like going back to the same place - too much of an explorer - id come back here though. No onsite Wifi or internet access - signal can be patchy out this way so would be useful for many. I was grateful for the tech detox!

Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but i feel the site would benefit from/could capitalise on a small store on site. Selling camping/food essentials, I appreciate this may annoy the 2 shops in the village though.
