Ik was blij met What a wonderful no frills high quality site. Delightful in every way. The flat pitch was huge with willow windbreaks partitions. Space and privacy was perfect.
The communal loo/washing up/shower area so homely utterly clean with touches like the microwave, kettle, eco cleaning products, hair dryer, hand towels, house plants plus table and chairs.
The ducks, chickens and cats gave us much entertainment.
On a working farm managed by Eric and Shelly who work very hard to holistically manage their Devon and jersey cattle in-between giving their time to keep campers comfortable. This isnt a sterile, over manicured, with endless rules its a home, farm and camping business. Therefore its a very homely site managed with passion and thought with care for the environment.
For us the location was great for the North Devon coastal path from Bideford, Westwood Ho! Clovelly, Hartland Quay and Bude. So quiet with the odd moo and tractor noise.
Being close to a pub etc wasnt an issue for us as we prepared are own food and didnt need entertaining. Have to say all the other campers were so friendly.
A real gem.
Ik was niet blij met # a long way from any shop (you need to stock up well and if necessary use the communal fridge)

Staanplaats voor een tent of voor vouwwagen op gras zonder elektriciteit
Ik was blij met The weather was fabulous which made our short trip so enjoyable. The site and location attracted the relaxed clientele.
Plenty of space no rules on the size of the pitch. Little walk to the toilets/showers/freezer and USB charging. The showers were good but the constant pressing the change in temp was annoying but fine. Toilets ultra clean. Unchlorinated fresh water from the borehole very nice. Friendly chap operating the site in his van - did the loop twice a day.
Recycling bins including used batteries gets a huge tick from me. Sounds of the cockerel, sheep and cows reminds you your in the countryside another bonus.
Walk down to Coombe Martin either along the the steep road or pathway. Walk back was pretty tough but more enjoyable than parking near the beach. Coastal path walking/running great. Trip to ilfracombe/Lynton/Croyde all easy drive. Lovely coastline and the verges looked cleared of rubbish. Smashing part of the country.
Coombe martin is a lovely little village, silver mining history. Great farmshop which we supported. Nice deli for cake. Finding Supermarkets were a little more of a challenge highly recommend doing research and bulk buy before arriving as not an option to pop out and get real food. Fresh meat can be sourced from the village in standard hours.
Yes, I would return but not the kind of site you want to frequent in wet weather very much fair weathered site at excellent value.
Ik was niet blij met Camping adjacent to road can be noisy at night. Temp control on the showers could be temperamental.
