Ik was blij met An absolutely fab site, it does exactly what it says on the tin, simple and straight-forward. Beautiful surroundings, especially waking up next to the sea every morning, and sleeping with the sound of the waves. It's 30 mins walk up to Bootle station, then you get north or south to different parts of the West Lakes, so a decent base for exploring. Toilets aren't the portaloos (as in the photos) but a new concrete block with a sink for washing up too. All in all, cracking camp site.

Ik was niet blij met Obviously a simple shower would be great, but I just had a few dips in the sea, and then rinsed off the salt with water from the tap. As a solo walker, I had a few slightly ropy interactions with the cows in the next field, but fully to be expected (it's the countryside, and no comment on the site itself).
