Ik was blij met Andrew, the owner, is wonderful and really makes this campsite special. Andrew would come round a couple of times a day to check everything is OK, and is always up for a chat. We got some great pointers for local towns and beaches that ended up being highlights of the trip. The campsite itself had a small toilet & shower block which was kept very clean. I understand Andrew is trying to expand this - fortunately the campsite was not busy while we there, and we didn't have to wait for the facilities a single time. There were a couple of large tables and picnic benches for us to use for cooking and eating, and Andrew even offered to bring a picnic table to our tent. The location is remote - great for stargazing, but best to come prepared with everything you need for a couple of days. We walked down to the local town, Little Haven, each day. This can be done by road (only a few cars, usually) or along the coast for the second half with great views along the way. Further out, there were plenty of great beaches and towns to keep us occupied on our three-night trip, and we left wanting to come straight back!
