Ik was blij met Brilliant campsite. The owners are just lovely! The lady and her little daughter looked after me when I was lost and expressed deep concern. You can peacefully take in the scenery and talk to the sheep while they stare at you! There is a lovely stream to get water, if you have a filter , and it's so refreshing after a good cycle ride. This is a backpacker, bike packer(like me!) and adventurer's dream. From Kendal it's a challenging, up-hill ride for 7 miles on the A6 with your gear. However, no problem with just the bike. Back to Kendal it's just freewheeling!
