Ik was blij met Nothing

Ik was niet blij met Being a bank holiday weekend we thought there would have been a few people on the site so arrived in good time. We were amazed to find no one else staying at the site. We went into the pub to introduce ourselves and grab a beer before being shown the site. The beer was awful, a good sign that the lines were not kept too well, but we took them outside. I took mine back to change it and when the server got off their stool they told me they had served loads today so not sure why it should taste like that (You couldn't see through the glass of lager), despite the place only having 4 people in it at lunch. Outside the amount of flies was disgusting, the place itself needs a good clean all around, a sweep up would be a start! So with the place being dirty, the beer being poured from dirty lines, we decided that staying here would not be an option and left. Overall it has put us off using Pitch up.

Van de manager: Your review is nothing short of farcical. Being bikers, I thought you would have known better. There was nothing wrong with the beer, a new keg had just been opened. As far as you being the only people on site, this is also a complete lie. We had a large group of campers from Paignton, really lovely people who ate and drank here as part of a birthday. I am pleased to report the good people far outweigh the bad. You arrived inbetween service times, not during lunch. To portray us as empty was rediculous. We were fully booked the entire Bank Holiday weekend. You did not view our beautiful facilities which included a full service gymnasium, Canadian Hot Tub, power shower and toilets, all there if you wanted to use them free of charge! I am truly disgusted at your notion of uncleanliness! The grass had just been cut, we have ariel shots from aboveb and of course there will be flies. We are bang in the middle of the beautiful countryside! I am absolutely disgusted. You did not stay, which I think was a good thing considering your fellow campers who used the bbq pit were having a lovely time. Shame on you!

Ik was blij met Met the wife who is lovely and clearly loves the site and people which was great. Only thing I would change would be was to be able to change the heat of you shower, which was spotless by the way.
