Ik was blij met The beautiful magical country garden with huge old trees, magical ribbons, fairy lights, rabbits, dragonflies… The little glamping units dotted around. The choice to pitch up pretty much anywhere on site. How safe it felt. The lovely kitchenette and communal seating. Oh and the fire pits!

Ik was niet blij met A couple of inconsiderate neighbours- other campers pretty much taking over all worksurfaces in the kitchen (not the owners fault but seemed to just be acceptable and unchallenged- would have been nice for the rest of us if they’d been given a little nudge to put their stuff away so the spaces could be used) and loud vehicles late at night- wasn’t sure if locals racing cars or something. Just seemed to be driving a loud vehicle at high speed from about 10pm.

Ik was blij met Chilled vibe, small campsite within driving distance of Church Stretton: good to know there are no shops or pubs close by- would have to walk or drive to church Stretton- about 5 mins drive or easy walk (but I imagine unpleasant as I don’t think there’s a route other than along the main road). We knew what we were coming to: basically a shell with two benches for your own bedding. Clean loo, although there was only one loo/ shower for women and one for men. Great price!!! Church Stretton is beautiful, and we got a fabulous sunrise view.

Ik was niet blij met We were unlucky that it was windy, so the pod was really noisy all night- kids slept fine through it but I didn’t sleep much. There is only one pod on the site: otherwise about 10 caravan spots, although the name “South View Pods” implies more. Although it’s not a biggie, I had imagined there might be more, where other likeminded people would be staying. As it was all neighbours weee in caravans/camper vans. Site is overlooked by owner’s house. Didn’t bother us as we were just staying one night but I don’t think I’d have liked it if we were staying longer. Found checking in slightly confusing: phone number to call was different in booking confirmation to the one on the gate- can’t remember which one worked.
