Ik was blij met As others have said, Paul could not have been more friendly or helpful- but not at all intrusive. Excellent location right across the road from the sea where we spotted dolphins and seals.

Ik was blij met Site tidy and surprisingly quiet for a suburban setting. Decent size pitches. Dog walks from site. Train station 20 minute walk away so easy access to Glasgow and beyond. Good recycling facilities.

Ik was niet blij met Poor signage to pitch with no staff available after 5pm or weekend which was frustrating after a long drive. Some other campers had obviously struggled too and kindly helped us out. No water refill facility at pitch, so had to move again to sort that out. Showers barely draining which was unpleasant and no one remedy this.

We’re pleased you found the site tidy and quiet, with good-sized pitches, dog walking from the site, good recycling facilities and convenient access to Glasgow by train. We do, however, feel it’s important to clarify a few points raised in your review. All guests receive a site map with their booking confirmation email, and guests arriving after 5pm are also sent a separate email with detailed directions explaining how to find their pitch. Staff are on site every day, and an out-of-hours contact number is provided for any questions or issues. We’re therefore disappointed that you stated there were no staff available after 5pm or at weekends, as this does not reflect the arrangements in place. We’re also unclear why you expected a water connection on your pitch, as our pitches are not advertised as fully serviced pitches and do not include individual water points. There are numerous fresh drinking water points located around the park for guests to use. You also mention that the showers were barely draining and that no one remedied this. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of this issue during your stay, so we had no opportunity to investigate or resolve it at the time. Had it been reported to us, we would of course have looked into it. We appreciate that the site may not have met your expectations and are sorry to hear you have decided not to return. However, we do feel it is important for future guests reading your review to have an accurate understanding of the facilities, arrival information and support available on site.

Ik was blij met The poshest campsite we’ve ever stayed at! Bathroom was better than ours at home! The whole site was clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and the setting was peaceful- better than expected for a large site.

Ik was niet blij met A bin in the dishwashing area would be helpful. Also, we went for a route marked walk direct from the site - but it took us half an hour to find the exit into the woods! Map markers or a sign indicating where the woods can be accessed would have been very helpful.

Ik was blij met Only booked for a couple of nights to road test the camper before a longer trip but really pleasantly surprised by this site! I was expecting road noise due to the location, but this was minimal. Facilities were very clean , showers great, really hot water for washing up and staff friendly and helpful. Pitches good size and level hard standing. Wifi being repaired at time of visit so can’t rate.

Ik was blij met Found this place accidentally and last minute, but what a gem! Amazing location, so peaceful and right on the coastline. Pitches were great size, hot water actually hot for washing up, toilets & showers spacious.
