Ik was blij met Right on the beach Interesting concept in shower block, a full bathroom with toilet, towel rail and sink, large space. Plenty of space on pitch, with water.

Ik was niet blij met Expensive at £35 per night, then an additional charge of £5 per day for WiFi. At those prices I’d expect at least a shower that doesn’t have a push button that literally stayed on for 15 seconds. That’s a real let down in my book. Although you’re on the beach it is very tricky to get on there without wellies. The path even at low tide has pools at the end which means you have to navigate over the tricky grass dunes.

Ik was niet blij met If you want remote, then be prepared for a bit of a challenging drive. Toilets/shower are the most basic I’ve experienced but clean. No phone service but WiFi is free although a bit hit and miss Stayed here to get the turntable ferry to Skye, unfortunately it broke down the day I arrived 😢

Ik was blij met Location worked perfectly for me. Very close to Skye bridge. Good little shop on the main road. Toilets/showers were clean Food truck on site, menu looked great but I’d already bought food 😢 Good value for money

Ik was blij met Showers are hot and no timer button. Toilets/showers seem new and clean for the hard standing pitches. Hairdryers provided. Location is excellent, within walking distance to Bamburgh and Seahouses.

Ik was niet blij met My pitch (16) was probably the worst on the large site. Be aware that the pitches on this side are next to the busy working farm and are pretty noisy. I get that it’s a farm but there was a lot of machinery noise and from early in the morning. Maybe the time of year didn’t help (August) but there were also children riding up and down on quads. Not quiet!! Also no sun at all over 5 days which is pretty poor when everyone else is sat out enjoying lovely weather. These pitches are expensive and should not be the same price as others on the site. I asked to be moved but was told it was full and it wasn’t possible. Okay for a quick one nighter but they shouldn’t put a long stay on there… and there were a lot of 1/2 night stays across the whole site. They could have easily re-arranged. Disappointing.

Ik was blij met Pitches were lovely, all screened with hedges. Location was fab, great walk along the coastline into the harbour. Shorter route back through the village. Lovely restaurant/bar/takeaway/shop opposite the entrance. We ate there one evening and it was very nice.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets were clean and light albeit feeling a little tired. There seemed to be an issue with the washing up sinks only having warm not hot water.

Ik was blij met Immaculate site a short and pretty walk away from town by the river. Although a large site it’s well designed, some pitches have more space than others. Theres a visiting food truck on an evening…not sure if it’s there every night. The showers/toilets are large, warm, clean and have perfect temperature water. Very good

Ik was niet blij met My pitch was under a tree which dropped a lot of blossom but it was fine. Just that time of year.

Ik was blij met Easy to get to…very quiet. 2 large fields so plenty of room and accommodated me last minute. Very good value for money.

Ik was blij met Nice and quiet area but very close to Scarborough. Friendly staff, clean toilets. Looks like a nice bar area but didn’t go in. Would imagine it would be good for children.

Ik was blij met Nice location, short walk into the town with a pub and shop. The pub does take out which I can recommend. Quiet site and friendly people. Bays are on a slight slope, if you’re in a large motorhome you’ll probably need chocks.

Ik was niet blij met The touring/motorhome area is being developed and the current bays are fenced between but a good size. I prefer a more natural feel. Toilets are a little outdated and the hairdryer didn’t work, however they are a good size and extremely clean. I couldn’t find the grey water disposal.
