Ik was blij met The whole vibe was lovely here. Andy is the soundest person in the world. Nothing was too much trouble for him when we had a million questions. He brought out his birds for the adults and the children to hold and learn about. He let my daughter play with his dogs and talk to him about absolute nonsense. He was very kind and helped us with many things during our stay. The campsite itself is located in a quiet area, close to Newborough forest. 20 mins from Snowdon. The PROPER toilets were very clean and clearly cleaned every day. Didn’t get to use the funky shower outside, but there’s one there and a tap for water. Brilliant place, we will definitely be back!

Ik was blij met My partner and I loved this campsite (as did my 3 year old)! It’s in such a great location, both for the incredible views of the mountains and access to just about everywhere. We felt we were always 20-40 mins to the places we wanted to be, including Snowdon and the beaches. Lots of lovely local walks. The staff were super lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much for them! The campsite and the facilities were spot on, they were always very clean and had running hot water. There’s taps around the campsite for fresh spring water. The park was a great size and they have donkeys and alpacas to feed! Going with a 3 year old, we were hoping there weren’t too many loud groups at night, but the campsite had strict rules for no fires/noise after 10/10.30pm, so this suited us nicely. Loads of space for the kids to play and very good sized pitches. Would 100% recommend and will be staying here again.

Ik was blij met Great facilities, lovely space, great location for Mam Tor and walking into Castleton. However, bare in mind not much public transport, we ended up walking up Winnats Pass at 11pm at night after thinking we could get a taxi back up to the campsite! Would stay again.
