Ik was blij met We had a really warm welcome from the owners and they are so helpful and friendly and easy to contact if necessary. We loved all the animals roaming around and the fact they came onto the pitch. The planes going over were loud but not that frequent or late (though early start so maybe check the flight schedule) and this might actually attract some people with children or a love of planes. The fact there is no toilet paper or hand towels in the toilets meant they were actually quite clean as there was no paper lying around. There is a lovely walk along the river Stour nearby and, apart from the odd plane, it is very quiet. It is also nice and flat so no levellers required.

Ik was niet blij met We felt the site was ideal for families as the animals and planes would be exciting for children. It is expensive if viewed as a non EHU grass pitch but you are getting free access to an animal park and possibly even an air show. However, for us personally, the site was a bit too chaotic and noisy for more than one night.

Ik was blij met Beautiful woodland location with plenty of facilities including a pool, gym and spa, none of which we had time to try out.

Ik was niet blij met We didn't dislike anything but this is a much bigger site than we are used to and might not suit everyone.

Ik was blij met The staff are so friendly and welcoming everywhere and it is in a lovely location with great views. The showers are amazing and I couldn't believe we didn't have to queue considering the size of the site, it is huge. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the food looked and smelled delicious and the vibe from the terrace is beautiful. The shop is very well stocked and quite reasonable. We only stayed one night but it was excellent value.

Ik was niet blij met Not really a criticism as I think it was just on our pitch, but the water tap was so close to the ground, we couldn't get our watering can underneath it.

Ik was blij met Lovely, warm welcome from reception. The scenery and location really make this site. There is a bus stop nearby on the T3 route and a river flows along the edge of the site. The birdsong was beautiful as were the views up to the mountains around Dolgellau. There is some road noise but this didn't bother us and we live in a very quiet area. We had everything on our pitch although the hookup tested our 25m cable to the limit. There is a nice short walk up to a bridge along the river. The showers were clean and hot but I wondered if only two showers in the ladies is enough for such a big site. There is a nice little kitchen where you can pickup WiFi which was good.

Ik was niet blij met This isn't really a dislike but we wonder whether it might be difficult for larger motorhomes to access the hardstanding in wet weather as there is quite a large chunk of grass in front. It might be worth checking before turning up.

And our hardstanding pitches vary; not all have a large chunk of grass in front. But they look nice don't they? You're welcome back any time.

Ik was blij met Everything. The views, the warm and informative welcome, the peace, nice big showers and everything was so clean. James is so helpful and everything is very clean and tidy. Just wish we'd stayed longer.

Ik was blij met The birdsong and flowers around the site. Ease of access and good location for Lidl. Toilets with their own individual showers. Ideal for children with large playground, football pitch and loads of space to let off steam. Very handy service area for motorhomes. Over all a really nice site especially having ghe little farm on site.

Ik was niet blij met The shower I used had no power and was just a trickle (second cubicle by the huts). It was hard to clean. Not keen on the grass strip in front of the hardstanding. It had rained hard and we weren't sure we'd get off. We did but maybe put larger motorhomes where there is less grass in front.

Ik was blij met Pretty much everything. We had a very warm welcome from Simon who texted us before we arrived. On arrival he helped us with everything including advice on the local buses which proved most useful. The wash up area is large with a sink for rinsing and even a hook for the tea towel The toilets and showers are modern and clean. There is a WiFi spot by the toilets and the TV and mobile signals were strong. The rural bus service stops right outside and there is a two hourly service to Llandeilo and Camarthen. There is so much to do nearby too: Gwili Railway, Aberglasny Gardens and the National Welsh Botanic Gardens as well as several castles. There was a little road noise during the day but it was really peaceful otherwise and we spotted a couple of squirrels on site. Our pitch had reasonably metered electric and water. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

Ik was blij met Very friendly welcome. We hadn't realised we would have to drive over wet grass to get to the gravel pitch. But the owner was very accommodating letting us park alongside the pitches. Lovely view of Malmesbury Abbey and the cows in the field. Nice little wash up and shower/ toilet facility. Very good VFM.

Ik was niet blij met Not a complaint or the owners fault but perhaps a sign no dogs in the wash up area. While we were there some people took their labrador in. It is not really big enough and it isn't pleasant trying to wash up around a big dog.

Ik was blij met Everything. Wonderful warm reception from the lovely lady who made us feel really welcome. Clean toilets and hot powerful showers with plenty of facilities. Extra toilets and showers during peak times. Plenty of water and elsan points. Lots of facilities for children. Nice views and really good wifi. On site laundry and really good value for money.

Ik was niet blij met We didn't really dislike anything. There are large pylons in the next field which 'sing' in the rain but that apart this is a lovely, well priced site in pretty countryside.

Ik was blij met Very friendly welcome and local information given which was really useful. Nice large concrete pitch. Nice views and cute, clean shower and toilet. Bus stop nearby to Minehead and Taunton, although short distance by a very busy road. Steam train is nearby. Good wifu.

Ik was niet blij met The elsan point is a bit high up making it difficult to empty. The site wouldn't be for everyone as pitches are basically bases prepared for statics with cabling so there isn't much grass for awnings.This didn't bother us.

Ik was niet blij met The site is uncared for and uneven. I nearly fell in a ditch trying to hook up. There was a dirty glove and a dead mouse by the water hose on one pitch and something equally unsavoury on another. Despite saying to the contrary, there were two commercial vehicles on site, one parked up and one with two guys in it. It didn't feel very safe. A pity as it has a lot of potential. It was definitely way over priced at £26. We had no contact with owner at all.

Ik was blij met The ladies on reception were really helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop just outside to Tewkesbury and Gloucester with a good service even on a Sunday and Bank Holiday. The pitches are well screened and we were offered a nice level one near the facilities. The wash up is good and the water really hot. Similarly the showers were hot and powerful and the unisex ones quite roomy.

Ik was niet blij met For the size of the site there are not enough toilets as far as we could see. There were not enough bins to cope with the Bank Holiday rubbish so there were a lot of flies and rubbish around as it was windy. A bin in wash up area would stop people using toilet bins for food waste. Elsan is just a tube in the ground in full view of everyone using facilities. A hose on the drinking water tap would make it easier to fill cans. There was no WiFi.

Ik was blij met Hot, clean showers, friendly staff, proximity to Lymington and Isle of Wight ferry. If we had a car, the access to Shorefield facilities would be a bonus. Well stocked shop. Plate racks and cloths at wash up and cloths to clean sinks in washroom. Good hair dryer.

Ik was niet blij met Pitch 410. Right by the road and impossible to access pitch without driving on the grass as tarmac strip is too narrow for a large motorhome. We asked to be near facilities and this pitch was furthest away with plenty of empty large pitches nearer, including one we had stayed on before. Wash up water was luke warm and tap doesn't swivel out the way without nearly coming off. No WiFi as far as we could see.
