Ik was blij met Really peaceful and well managed campsite. Clean & well managed facilities with great access to local Cornish towns/villages. We stayed on A4 electric Avenger pitch, unfortunately our hookup cable was too short to reach our tent, but Simon, campsite warden was happy to lend us a longer one for our 5 night stay. Men’s toilets consisted of 3x toilets, showers & sinks, and for a bank holiday weekend I was surprised at how busy the site was and never any queues for facilities. I believe there was other facilities on the other field, but never went over there. Kettle, microwave, roster free to use in the laundry room as well as a large fridge & freezer.

Ik was niet blij met No men’s urinals in the toilet block & cannot park car next to pitch on Avenger field.

Ik was blij met Site was clean & well presented. Wonderful facilities which were mostly clean. Stayed midweek off peak so facilities were never too busy. Bar is lovely, good variety of drinks, barman was very friendly and chatty. Fish & chips were very tasty, although slightly pricy. You can have them delivered to the bar and can eat them in the bar also. The freezer in the laundry room was helpful for our cool box due to having no electric.

Ik was niet blij met Just a minor couple of points, nothing which would stop us going back. We pitched up in the middle of the site behind the middle toilet block (white building), the hand dryers in the washrooms would go off at all hours and are very noticeable. There is also some building works going on opposite this area during day time hours on the private areas of the site which caused some noise.

Van de manager: Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry to hear the hand dryer and the work that is going on around site caused a disturbers during your stay. This is certainly something we will look into. At the moment we do have some site maintenance happening around the park and we are trying to keep the noise down during certain hours. we are making improvements to the park and preparing the park for some big changes but we do apologise and hope this doesn't effect you visiting in the future.

Ik was blij met Stayed in a tent pitch, lovely quiet site with plenty of room to pitch. Nice flat surface for tents to pitch. Toilets/showers were always clean and tidy and never the need to queue. Owners were lovely on check in. Fantastic location situated only a 5min to Tenby one way & Saundersfoot the other. Morrisons local in the village within 5min walking distance for essentials. Ice pack freezing & washing machine facilities clean. Only downside was this room locks at 7pm so if you need to swap your ice packs for the night make sure you do it before then. Washing up facilities clean also.

Ik was blij met Quiet adults only site. Check in was easy and provided with a map of Cheddar and free Wi-Fi code for up to 3 devices (we didn’t use this so can’t comment on the quality). Lovely owners/workers who we saw several times throughout the stay and they always made the effort to say hello. Small grass field for tents. But with only 6-7 tents here during our stay there was plenty of room for us as well as dogs. Clean toilet/shower facilities and never had to queue. Smaller porta cabin style block of toilets closer to the camping field along with communal fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave and pot wash. Cheddar can be accessed via a footpath directly attached to the site.
