Ik was blij met A friendly welcome and a choice of large and level pitches. We only stayed for one night as we were en route from Spain to Charente, so we can't really give a thorough review. Showers were a good temperature.

Ik was niet blij met As it was low season, there was only one toilet block open, so we can only review the facilities available at the time. The toilet block in question was somewhat dated and didn't really appear to have sufficient capacity for a site of this size. It may well be that the other facilities were larger to cater for more people. I'm not sure that the cleanliness warranted the star rating for the site. The washing up area had only two sinks. Water was hot but there was no working lighting.

Ik was blij met The owners were friendly and welcoming and gave us loads of information about walks and cycle routes in the area. The site itself is small, nestled into the hillside and is totally tranquil with wonderfully dark skies at night. It's well worth walking up behind the site for absolutely amazing views of Penyagalera - the light in the evening is just breathtaking. Pitches are level and the toilets, showers and washing up area were modern and kept spotlessly clean - as the site was quiet, it was almost as if we had a campervan with a luxury ensuite! We were on the upper level of the site and didn't have any Wi-Fi and no phone signal - not a problem though as you could just stroll down to the reception/bar area and get good Wi-Fi. This is a site to get away from it all, disconnect and relax.

Ik was blij met We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Lolita and Cédric. This lovely couple were generous with their knowledge of the area and the fabulous walks that you could take either directly from the site or within a short drive. The site itself is a real gem, with generous, level pitches set amongst mature native trees and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. If you want peace and tranquility amongst nature, this is the place for you! Overnight, there was no sound other than the occasional hoot of tawny owls. The toilets and showers are relatively basic but spotlessly clean. Fresh bread and croissants daily (order the night before). It was a wrench to leave after our four night stay. We will most definitely return if we are in this area again.

Ik was blij met A very warm welcome when we arrived. Attractive site with clean, warm and well-maintained facilities. Level pitches if a good size with hedges between. Really peaceful overnight with just the sound of a nightingale singing - bliss! Fresh bread available to order. Excellent value for money!
