Ik was blij met Lovely location. Quiet, calm and peaceful. Suitable facilities for camping, the composting toilets are a bit more spacious than others. Decent size shower with hot water, good enough wash up area with hot water, but not the best. The way the site is set out means if there are other campers onsite you’ll have loads of space between each pitch. The hosts were very welcoming, and very friendly.

Ik was blij met Lovely location, great site, decent fully flushing toilets and hot showers, excellent wash up shed. Very friendly owner!!

Ik was blij met Fantastic location, quiet and peaceful, excellent facilities, wide open spaces to pitch in. Safe and secure as the gate is closed and locked, you are given the code so you can come and go as you please, it’s really not that difficult to open the gate. Unlike mentioned in the other review, all the toilet/shower blocks DO have lighting, you just have to look for the light switch…

Ik was blij met Stayed here a few times now and always love camping here. Nice to see and hear the steam trains going by, excellent facilities.

Ik was blij met Great little site! Has all the amenities you’d need camping, decent toilets and showers, plus the pub is also very nice and cosy.

Ik was blij met Lovely location, nice pitches, fantastic toilets, showers and wash up facilities.

Ik was niet blij met Supposed to be a dog free site, but a family had two dogs running up and down the pitches chasing balls when we were trying to set up, then another person walking his dog on the second day….

Ik was blij met Excellent site, great pitches, really nice location, washing up, toilet and shower facilities are all top notch! Deffo coming back to camp here again!

Ik was niet blij met Only sight dislike was the wooden steps leading down the slope from the pitch need a little tlc, slippery wooden steps when it rained and a bit of a depression behind the steps starting to form, nothing major though.

Ik was blij met New toilet and shower block just been installed, so no more composting toilets! The best washing up hut in any site! Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Ik was blij met Very nice location, great walks straight off the site. Nice and spacious with plenty of options where to pitch. Friendly helpful staff onsite to meet on arrival and answer any questions. Toilets are nice and well kept.

Ik was blij met Really nice location with beautiful scenery. Toilets were ok, certainly not bad like other reviews of this site has said. Owner was helpful and friendly.

Ik was niet blij met Very sloped, car was slipping and sliding down the hills, had to hunt for a flat spot to pitch. (Apparently an extra field was closed for lambing) There was only one point to get water and the grass all around was like a swamp, would have been nice if there was a few flag stones to stand on to keep dry feet, and a bit of a trek up the muddy hill to fetch water back to the tent.

Ik was blij met Friendly helpful staff on site. Decent toilet and shower block. Bit of a slope on the field… Very close to battle abbey and the fields.

Ik was niet blij met Another groups dog was running round freely, caused a bit of friction.

Ik was blij met Very friendly host, close to shops and a pub! Toilets and washing up facilities clean and well stocked, washing up liquid, sponges etc
