Ik was blij met We had an amazing time at Awel yr Awen Campsite. I really wanted to go somewhere that was really rural and eco friendly. I took my ten year old daughter with me and we stayed in the owl bell tent. It was a great way to camp without having to pack the tent and set it up. The owl bell tent was really spacious and clean and had a double and single bed which were really comfortable. We were able to bring our gas stove and had lots of room inside the tent to make a makeshift kitchen and seating area. There is already a picnic bench and fire pit for you to use which we did. We loved playing card games and making s'mores There is wood available to buy from the host. Rolanda is brilliant, she is a very responsive host and very accommodating. One of our highlights was seeing the chicken and roosters in the outhouses they were really funny and cute and my daughter loved them. There is a handy campers cabin on site too with a fridge freezer, kettle and other little amenities and you can charge your electricals there too. Showers and toilets are eco friendly so not modern but it makes it a proper camping stay and is a great way to completely switch off. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to get some great photos of the area/views which were stunning from our tent it was so peaceful and quiet we just loved it. Location is great for visiting local towns and beaches we managed Aberystwyth, llhanstrad, Aberaron and llangranog beach. All around a 15-30 minute drive. We would definitely recommend Awel yr Awen Campsite and hopefully be able to return soon. Thanks again Rolanda.

Ik was blij met We arrived later than planned but Shaun was really good about it and came to the check in as soon as we arrived to welcome us. We had a lovely welcome and Shaun covered everything from where to visit to where to eat. We were given great pitches really close to the facilities which with kids is really helpful. The campsite is clean, well maintained and family friendly. There is a small park for the kids to play on which our kids loved. My husband fished for a day and loved it. There is ongoing works at the park to upgrade the facilities which is great to see and didn't hinder our stay at all. The facilities are good and cleaned daily. Showers were lovely and hot, water points are close and you feel very safe on site. Overall we loved our stay and look forward to visiting again. Thanks Shaun and team, your doing a great job!
