Ik was blij met Great location with a short walk into Coldstream. Great small park for kids and larger grass area for them to play with picnic benches. Tent pitches close to toilets etc. Camped with 2 autistic kids and felt its one of the most secure campsites we have been at, park fully fenced off and grass area fenced off with 2 small exit areas which is easy to manage. Have camped at many campsites over the years and my son has said this has been his favourite so far, will definitely be back.

Ik was blij met Good facilities, clean and modern

Ik was niet blij met Not normally one to leave reviews as I am very laid back person and nothing normally phases me but felt a bit disgusted with the attitude from the owners during our stay! On arrival they seemed nice and friendly, they explained they had electricity problems and at that moment in time were awaiting an electrician which was absolutely fine, you expect somewhere who are in the process of expanding their business or whatever to have things which could go wrong! All went well on the first night, until the second night a few camper vans arrived and again the electricity went and then again a further 2 times during our 2 night stay. The attitude of the owners at this point was shocking, unsure if it was because we were a younger group but we were made to feel like we were the problem when we had been told their had been issues for 2 days before we even arrived and the electric was fine until they got busy on the second day! We were made aware from another couple camping there was an issue with a blocked toilet which left the owner annoyed due to baby wipes being flushed, which is understandable as it clearly states on the door not to do this and unsure if because we had young children they thought it was us, but it 100% wasn't ourselves. We go camping alot and have done for many years and have never experienced anything like it, not a nice way to speak to your customers. Don't get me wrong toilets and showers were spotless couldn't fault them other than it would be good to have a bench or somewhere to sit your clothes inside whilst you showered. If it wasn't for the attitude and rudeness the electricity wouldn't even have bothered me at all as these things can happen which is understandable, but to be made to feel the way we did just wasn't acceptable I'm afraid! We have camped round at Luss campsite a few times and thought we would try this site for a change but unfortunately it's just not for me. Wishing you's the best of luck for the future though!
