Ik was blij met Friendly greeting on arrival, able to pitch where you liked. Fresh water taps available throughout, and the composting toilets worked well and had clear instructions on how to use. A very relaxed site with a good ethos

Ik was blij met A great site, level gravel pitches with great views. New shower and toilet blocks kept very clean, and within close walking distance, and also communal dish washing facilities. There was a mobile bar, pizza oven, and a little retro caravan selling food and breakfasts, a lovely touch for the summer months. The family who own this site have made so many great improvements, and are so welcoming and friendly, and go out of their way to make this a truly great experience and stay for their visitors. This is fast becoming a favourite place to stay when in the peak district, and I would thoroughly recommend.

Ik was blij met The views were amazing, surrounded by the sea and a great spot to watch the sunsets. The family that run the site are so welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to make people feel at home

Ik was blij met A really well thought out site. Easy access from roads, well signposted. Security gate operated by passcode. I stayed on a gravel pitch and these also have an area of grass. The pitches are well kept and spacious, and the grass on the site was neat and mowed short - a bonus as this helps to keep the van clean! The washrooms were great, with individual changing rooms with hairdryers and straighteners plus some products, a really thoughtful touch by the owners - thank you . There was a laundry which though I didn’t use has washer, dryer and an iron and ironing board, and there is also a coffee machine so you can enjoy a nice coffee whilst waiting for your laundry! On site there is a large designated dog walking field with an agility course, and you could let your dog off the lead for a good play and run around , which is great for anyone with a canine friend ! The site was very peaceful and the owners very pleasant , it is obvious that they go out of their way to make sure guests enjoy their experience of staying here.

Ik was blij met great welcome from the site manager who gave us some good tips for areas to visit, he also walked the site with us to find a spot for our campervans so we would not get stuck as bad weather was predicted . We visited the pub for a few drinks and again everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The weather was pretty bad for us but I imagine this site is great in summer months, there is plenty of access to walks and trails directly from the site, and hot showers when you return , would definitely visit again

Ik was blij met lovely small and peaceful site. Lovely friendly owner, beautiful views , EHU for those that prefer and a nice grassy area for off grid camping. No toilets or showers so make sure you provide your own. Lovely 20 min walk across fields to local pub serving good food and special ales

Ik was blij met friendly relaxing place to stay., able to get up close to the animals. Lots of lovely walks directly from the site, good showers and toilets, able to choose own space to camp

Ik was blij met beautifully maintained site, you can park amongst the trees . Friendly helpful wardens on hand to answer any queries. This will definitely be a favourite place to return to

Ik was blij met Well kept small level site, friendly owner, who was very accommodating as I pitched on the wrong pitch! portable toilet was a pleasant surprise as did not expect this, good chemical disposal and fresh water available
