Ik was blij met Amazing views from the pitch we had in Bluebell Field, was not allocated pitch so we had our choice of available pitches on arrival. Meant we got to choose an absolute beauty. Kitchenette, shower block and toilets immaculately clean and water nice and hot for showers and washing up. In the centre of campsite so easy walk from any pitch. Cows in the next field kept all children on campsite amused in the morning and some adults too. Really chilled vibe around the campsite. Lots of bird song, and squirrels running up and down the hedges. Sunsets over Forest were gorgeous as were the views of the stars as very little light pollution from site. Good 4G signal on site for us.

Ik was niet blij met Absolutely nothing, I’m not sure we have ever stayed at a more perfect campsite.

Ik was blij met Friendly welcome, nice non electric field to camp in with plenty of room for the children to play. Was very close to a good launching point for Paddleboarding on the River Trent, and shortish drive from Sherwood Pines for Mountain biking. Glad we were not on Electric field as seemed very busy and quite noisy.

Ik was blij met What a great campsite, so many positives it’s hard to know where to start. Lots of space on the campsite, lots of green space in front of pitch with room for children to play. Only 30 or so pitches so very quiet campsite. Toilets and shower block immaculately clean and very modern fit out. Didn’t use laundry but sufficient for small numbers. The owners are absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble, made sure we settled in and always a friendly hello. Wetsuit cleaning shower and hanging area. Really hard to think of anything we didn’t have.

Ik was niet blij met This is minor, to get to the bus stop does involve a walk along a busy road (will probably ease when A30 roundabout improvements complete), so if walking with very small children may be a bit of an issue. We managed ok (children 10 and 8)

Ik was blij met Really easy to find, nice camping field great views of mountains surrounding. Liked that we could choose where we pitched and was plenty of space on field Shower was really good.

Ik was niet blij met Only two toilets and one shower, whilst not a problem for us on the visit could be an issue in peak season with lots camped on the field.
