Ik was blij met Site was very quiet. Owner very welcoming, came to chat to us several times. Lovely clean facilities. Spa treatments available onsite (didn’t use) a nice added perk.

Ik was niet blij met 10 pitches and only 1 bathroom (shower and loo in same shed). It’s their first season and owner has said he will be increasing the facilities for next year to include a washing up sink.

Ik was blij met Everything. Just returned from 6 nights camping at the wonderful Thorny Bush. We were greeted by Vicki who couldn’t have been more helpful. Explained about where things were and how things worked and also about the local area. The site only has 2 camping pitches, both with EHU. The facilities are very basic but very clean. Each pitch has their own toilet and you share a shower. There is a small ‘shop’ on site where Vicki sells some of her home grown produce as well as eggs from her chickens and strawberry jam made by her mum. If you want entertainment and bells and whistles this site isn’t for you. But if like us, you want peace and quiet, sounds of nature and a lovely view then this site IS for you. Thank you Vicki for such a relaxing break. We will be back.
