Ik was blij met This is a big site with good facilities and good access to the local area. It's obviously popular with the boating and canoeing crowd with easy access to the water. Also....lots of ducks!

Ik was niet blij met The facilities are a little dated....cleaned and functional but things like having coin operated showers with the coin box on the outside of the shower put me off using them. I couldn't work out how you could insert a new token if your water ran out whilst showering.

Ik was blij met Has all you need: toilet, shower, rubbish and waste disposal, washing machine and wash up area. All looking fairly recent and modern.

Ik was niet blij met No fault of the campsite but there's not much option within walking distance for food. Make sure you're self sufficient in food and drink before setting up your campervan

Ik was blij met The views from this Park are excellent. They look out over the bay and the Spectacular mountains behind. The Talybont railway station is literally 50 yards from main reception and so most of the coastal towns are within easy reach. Barmouth has an excellent holiday atmosphere and is home to the ferry which is a small ferry boat which can take you over to join the Fairbourne Railway. The site is within easy reach of Portmeirion and also Porthmadog where you can ride the steam trains for the Welsh Highland line and the Ffestiniog Railway. The toilet and shower facilities are clean, new and maintained regularly. There's even a washing up point. The site was particularly good for me having an electric car; there was one charge point within 50 yards of the reception area. Although it belonged to a different caravan site, they will allow you to use it and it was right opposite the chip shop and amusement arcade. The site also has an affiliated caravan site 2 miles down the road which had another electric vehicle charging point right next to the swimming pool, so you can swim while you charge. All in all superb stay.
