Ik was blij met Fantastic site, really laid-back, lovely owners, very helpful and friendly. Good location, Haverhill and Sudbury equal distance. Excellent facilities, just what we needed. Stayed in Hazels pod. Not huge, but room enough for what we needed. Will definitely be back. Love the way it's been created, very imaginative

Ik was blij met had a problem with our tent, so chap who runs the site let us stay in a static van rather than drive the 300 odd miles homes. obviously had to pay for it, but we thought it was very kind and thoughtful. Basic quiet friendly site. equal distance to Sherborne and Dorchester. Less than an hour to Weymouth and Portland Bill. Swanage, Bournemouth and Poole easily accessible by road. Needed a break and got one.

Ik was blij met Paul is a lovely man, very accomodating and helpful. He was out of the area the day we arrived, but was still available on the phone. We couldn't get our tent poles in the rock hard ground and we rang him numerous times. He let us stay in a small caravan for £30 a night. We only stayed 2 nights but still enjoyed it. It's quite basic, but central for what we wanted. We had planned a few Wessex road trips, so we will be back. Clean facilities and only 5 minutes walk, to the edge of the New Forest, where ponies roam freely in the road. The pub is nice as well, the food looks good and well priced. Its good value for the money. If you only want somwhere to park, pitch up and sleep, its brilliant. Peaceful and spacious for a small site, I'd reccomend it, every day of the week. There is a small retail park on the way into Salisbury with a Lidl and Tesco. We will be back maybe early in the season next time. The bus stop to Salisbury and Southampton is by the pub. What more could you want? Leave the car and see Wessex by bus.
