Ik was blij met Toilet and shower block were excellent. Easy access motorhome service drain. Bus stop right outside for trip to Oswestry or Shrewsbury. Short dog walk on site but slightly longer bridleway walk just outside site.

Ik was niet blij met Very little shade available but to be fair it has been ridiculously hot of late.

Ik was blij met Very clean well kept basic site. Close to convenience store and really good fish and chip shop. Nice and close to beach and lots of cafes and bars. Museum of speed worth a look. Very secure barrier entry and exit. Starlink free WiFi was excellent.

Ik was niet blij met Bit close to main road so could become a bit noisy although was quiet at night. No shower or toilets so you have to be self sufficient here.

Ik was blij met Very nice level hardstanding pitches with fantastic views over woolacombe bay. Friendly staff and nice modern clean facilities. Can use the swimming pools and clubhouse if that’s your thing. Walking distance to the beach.

Ik was blij met No fuss no frills campsite with basic facilities. Portaloos were very clean and well stocked. There was a drinking water and grey water tap and chemical waste point and that was it. Just as we like it. Site was well kept and all visitors spread themselves out nicely and it was super quiet. Cycle track to Bath along the heritage railway runs directly behind the site. Stopped along route for coffee and had a pub lunch on the way back at the Locksbrook inn which sits on the bank of the river. Perfect. There is a Bristol/Bath bus stop a few metres away. Convenience store and garden centre a short stroll away too. What’s not to like. Price was great too.

Ik was blij met Basic camp field with superb toilet and shower facilities. Stunning views over Carmarthen bay. Friendly warden.

Ik was blij met Huge hard standing level pitches. Toilet and shower block was exceptional and all looked new. Site was tidy and well kept. Cafe was very nice.

Ik was niet blij met Train to Aberystwyth wasn’t running. Only opens April but no fault of the campsite.

Ik was blij met Returning back to a beautifully organised site for a stopover before the Calais ferry was a nice feeling. Unfortunately the cafe was only serving mussels and chips the night we were there and i was so looking forward to a steak. Remember to have a 2 pin euro adapter for your electric cable as this was the only site we found we needed to use one. If you need a Calais stopover this is definitely the place to go. Toilets and showers are nice and clean. There is also a secure dog run for exercising dogs.

Ik was blij met Very basic site (which we like) with a spectacular location just a few steps to a stunning beach. Nice long coastal path walk past a couple of nice coves. Alex was very helpful at reception and gave us lots of local info. Electric bikes are available for hire but we had our own and cycled to a lovely medieval church Sainte-Marie du Menez Hom near Plomodiern. Toilets and showers were clean. If you like sites without all the fancy facilities you'll like this site.

Ik was blij met Nice large pitches and very well maintained site. Anneka on reception was brilliant and even arranged for our dog to get seen at the local vet for his tapeworm tablet to be able to return to the UK. Cycling from the site with the free cycle map is so easy and lots of well marked cycle tracks which are all nice and flat. beach area is just over the road. There is a nice bar and cafe on site and two beautiful pools with loungers and sun umbrellas. Toilets and showers were nice and clean. Definitely would recommend this site.

Ik was blij met lovely clean well looked after site and very friendly English speaking staff. Fresh baguettes and croissant every day to order was great. Restaurant on site with a small menu but what was served was very nice. We even had a guitarist/singer for entertainment which was mostly in English and everybody joined in and had a great night. Easy cycling to the beautiful Suscinio chateaux and lovely place to have a lunch at the restaurant nearby.

Ik was blij met Basic no frills camping just as we like it. Just a drinking water tap and chemical waste disposal. Grass pitch overlooked the river Avon so we could watch the boats go by. You can also launch a kayak if you want to. Short 15 min walk to village store and a couple of pubs. Longer walk to Pershore very nice town has everything.

Ik was blij met Lovely young lady on reception who spoke beautiful English and gave us all the info about the site and made a restaurant booking for us in the brilliant on-site restaurant. Food and staff were excellent. Good size pitches all screened by shrubs. Toilets spotlessly clean and modern. Dog exercise area. With poo bags and bins provided. Mainly British vans on site for one night for the return trip to UK from Calais which is 30 mins away. This is a fantastic find and we will definitely be returning every time we cross to France.

Ik was blij met Great location on private lakeside beach for swimming and pedalo boats. River swimming available for us and the dog. Bar and snacks available on site. Walking distance to local town Macon. Large boating and leisure activities lake area next to camp with free entry for site users with wristbands. Large level pitches. Friendly English speaking staff. What’s not to like for a couple of days.

Ik was blij met Friendly staff Francois was very helpful in arranging the local vet to treat our dog for the necessary tapeworm tablets for the trip back to the UK. Vets was €50. Great location near the many cycle paths over the island to the surrounding towns beaches. Lots of cycle hire shops if you don’t carry your own bikes. Brilliant market at Ars Le Re. Selling handcrafted high quality products not the usual Chinese tat, as well as veg and deli produce. Site was quite busy but still quiet enough. Pitches not as large as some but ok for medium sized motorhomes. Two toilet blocks on site but one was closed due to leak. Facilities were always clean and tidy. Motorhome service point for water and chemical waste available.

Ik was blij met Friendly welcome. Very clean modern facilities. Covered pool. Well looked after small site but plenty of space on lovely individual pitches. Plenty of shady trees. Baguettes and croissants available to order for next morning. Grey waste and chemical waste disposal. Great value for money ideal for short stay.

Ik was blij met Friendly staff. Snack and drinks bar on site. Beautiful position on Dordogne river. Canoeing available on site with 5€ discount for site users. Transferred upstream in minibus for a leisurely paddle downstream for 4 hours of beautiful scenery for €30. Two toilet and shower blocks one more modern than other but both very clean. Fantastic cycle track voie verte et veloroute starts in local village of Cazoules and we cycled on beautiful cycle paths to Sarlat Le Caneda a beautiful medieval town with lots of really nice shops and architecture. Took about 1hr45 each way. Baguette dispensing machine in town was a novelty for us Brits.

Ik was blij met Lovely location on the lake. Some sloping pitches. Large pitches shaded by trees. Direct access to the lake and beach area. Boating and water skiing available. Restaurant/bar and pool excellent. Baguettes and croissants available to order for next morning. Cycle path down eastern side of lake. Western side possible but more challenging on forest tracks over lots of tree roots. Wi-Fi available in area around reception. Toilets and showers really clean. Chemical and grey waste disposal and fresh water available in drive in area. Staff very friendly. Local town has basic supermarket and lovely cafe run by people from Sunderland.

Ik was blij met Perfect stop over for a night on the way from Calais to southern France. Individual pitches screened by trees. Clean toilets and showers. Restaurant on site. Swimming pool was being refurbished so should be nice when complete. Very friendly staff.

Ik was blij met Second time visiting this very relaxed no frills small campsite immaculately kept with good size designated pitches. (Some with electric hookup). Toilet/showers/pot cleaning area all clean and chemical waste and fresh water available. Direct access to the Severn way walk and a bit further on the Gloucester canal. Nice pub within 5 minute walk. Will definitely be back.

Ik was blij met Back to basics farm site. Very friendly welcome. Toilet and showers were clean. Site can get very wet and soft so be aware if you have a heavy van. Lovely scenery around the area.
