A beachfront site within a maritime pine forest, with dips in the Mediterranean just a short walk away and shaded afternoon siestas? Sounds like a dream, right? Or maybe it sounds like a ‘sueño’, since the site in question – Alannia El Pinar – is on the outskirts of Blanes, just at the start of the Costa Brava, about an hour’s drive north of Barcelona. For most, the main attraction here is the location: right on Platja de S’Abanell, one of the longest sandy beaches along this coast and a popular spot for watersports. If the seaside is not your jam, there is plenty to keep you entertained on site, starting with a large swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. If you feel particularly active, you might want to take part in water-fitness classes, arrange a game on the sports field or the pétanque court, or hire a bike (on site) to explore the seafront on two wheels (it’s a 10-minute ride to the centre of Blanes). The kids have a play area and organised activities ranging from games and workshops to dress-up sessions with entertainers. And the family dog is not left out either, with a dog park where it can stretch its legs. In addition to a restaurant (serving paella, pizza and sangria, among other things), there is a food shop selling local produce. Other amenities include a toilet/shower block with facilities for disabled guests, plus a drying room and a launderette.

Ik was blij met I. Liked structure of camping pitches in general, flat, close to nice beach. Nice water rooms. Nice staff and efficient to solve little problems. Quiet location but close to downtown. Would definitely reccomwnd it.

Ik was niet blij met The big tree in pitch 158.

Ik was blij met Schöner Stellplatz.Nahe am Meer.Toiletten immer sauber.....Top Service..Alles sehr freundlich...

Ik was niet blij met Kein Professioneller Platz für das Ablassen von Grauwasser und das entleeren der Toilette von Wohnmobilen....sehr ärgerlich...Bei so einem großem Campinplatz ist es zum schämen.......sehr schlecht

Ik was blij met Los lavabos, aunque el vaciado de aguas grises falta una manguera para poder canalizar el agua al bidon

Ik was niet blij met Camping separado por una carretera, no da tranquilidad para los niños, solo hay parque en un lado, estuvimos todos los días con ruido de máquinas trabajando, un tractor circulando arriba y abajo constantemente por la calle con el peligro que a los niños conlleva. Calles con mucha tierra sin compactar y sin sombra.

Ik was blij met Sehr nette englischsprachige Dame am Empfang, hat uns sogar zum Stellplatz geführt.

Der Strand ist / wird wunderschön.

Die Bauarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und haben einen Doppel- Baustrahler an die Abwaschstelle verbracht, weil es dort noch keine Beleuchtung gibt

Ik was niet blij met Alles eine riesige Baustelle. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, nicht einmal Baguette, kein Restaurant. Das in der Baustellenphase befindliche Sanitärhaus ist 'mixed geschlechtlich'.

Extrem enge Wege und sehr kleine Plätze.

Bäume, Anpflanzungen u. a. macht vielfach extremstes Rangieren erforderlich, teilweise ist das Fahren des 7,5 m langen WoMo unmöglich ohne Büsche und Sträucher zu touchieren / zu überfahren .

Die 'Krönung': gegen 09:30h mussten wir unseren Frühstücksbereich 'Not- abbauen' , weil dann ein Insekten- Vernichtungsunternehmen den kompletten Platz benebelte. In diesen Schauer bin ich kurz vorher geraten, als ich von der Rezeption zurück kam und erst zu spät registrierte, dass die Arbeiter Schutzanzüge und professionelle Atemschutzmasken trugen. Ergebnis: über den ganzen Tag Übelkeit und Kopfschmerzen.

Das Ganze dann für rd. 30 EURO; Chapeau.

Ich für mich habe befunden: Never more

As casas de banho estavam excelentes, limpas.

Ik was niet blij met Fumegar as árvores enquanto há hóspedes.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

The seaside town of Blanes (10 minutes’ drive) is overlooked by the Castell de Sant Joan, a medieval fortress on a vegetation-covered rocky hill with far-reaching views of the rugged coastline and its sheltered coves, like Cala Bona. The windy paths of the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, fringed with exotic plants from all over the world, also have spectacular sea views. Head inland to Girona (45 minutes), a university town with a pretty historic centre of narrow alleyways and stone buildings. Take a stroll along the top of the city walls, step inside the Romanesque cathedral, admire the collections at the Art Museum or catch an exhibition at the CaixaForum Girona cultural centre. In Barcelona (an hour), football fans head straight to Camp Nou stadium, while art and architecture enthusiasts start their tour at Gaudí’s unfinished Basílica de la Sagrada Família, before checking out other awe-inspiring Modernist structures such as Palau Güell or Casa Batlló.
