Ik was blij met Location, proximity to the beach! Clean shower/toilet blocks and friendly staff (cleaners) Friendly site (mainly Spanish patrons and welcoming).

Ik was niet blij met Pitches are too small. Feel a bit hemmed in but you get used to it. Quite noisy, 11 o clock noise curfew not adhered to. Not the most friendly welcome on reception- we weren’t given a map or any information about the site or area.

Ik was blij met Only 200metre walk from my tent to top of the lovely beach, so could carry surfboard or paddle board without having to pump it up at the beach or drive and find a parking space. Bar/restaurant very popular with locals as well as customers of the site. Reasonable prices. Toilets were kept very clean all day. Very friendly hardworking cleaners. Friendly office staff speak good English and were helpful. On site shop had decent stock.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches seemed a bit cramped. My car and tent only just fitted on. Customers with some caravans had to park outside the site. Compared to UK, there does not seem to be the same “safety” distance between unit. Price was a little excessive for a single person with a tent, but I did have electric, though it was low amps. They probably charged the same regardless of how many people were in the tent or caravan. Not much else near the site, so for general location, I have to mark down

Ik was blij met Location close to ferry ports of Bilbao and Santander.

Ik was niet blij met Small pitches. Very narrow tracks around the site. With our caravan (7.4m) needed to be very careful entering the site and navigating all turns around the site. Chemical waste disposal poor, and I never found a grey waste water disposal area. Two large bins for waste plastic and paper, but (if you can find them) very small bins for other waste disposal. The camp shop had no prices marked on anything and was very expensive compared to other campsite shops in Spain. I could be wrong, but I got the impression that the total cost was made up on the spot. Lots of weeds around the site so it appeared that it was not very well cared for. My impression is that the site management have forgotten that this if the 21st century. Not recommended,

Ik was niet blij met Access to the site and exit from the site are difficult and I smashed the waste water pipe off the van on the exit bump.

Ik was blij met location, friendly helpful staff. location is great close to lovely beach and a good beach restaurant. Toilet block refurbished and very clean.

Ik was blij met The location of the site is excellent - near the sandy beach and has great little bar/restaurant with friendly & helpful staff. On site facilities are of a good standard (showers, loos etc.). They are more geared up for motorhomes though - I had to use the M/H service point to dispose of my grey waste.

Superb beach location for surfer dudes in their T1s (beach and public car parking area get very crowded in the holidays.

Warning: The beach area allows topless sunbathing - and - on one morning only we went for a walk to find two completely naked females in the surf. No pictures, the wife wouldn't let me...

Would I go back? Yes, I probably would.

Ik was niet blij met The pitches are ridiculously small - probably only 8.5m x 8.5m. My 7.5m caravan only just fitted and only gave me enough room to wind the legs down at the back. (A "horsebox" sized motorhome tried to get onto one such pitch and simply gave up & left). The stupid electric boxes are only 6A and have the archaic two-pin "old style" continental sockets, meaning you need a 3-pin blue EURO to 2-pin converter cable. It may be that SOME of the boxes are better - I don't know. The boxes are locked to prevent people nicking the electric, but to be fair, they came out immediately when asked to connect/disconnect. The really concerning bit is the exit/entrance to the site - it's about 20% upslope and there's a blind hairpin halfway up, AND the road is covered with sand from the beach. So on exiting when towing, you stop to check the hairpin and then can't get traction to move further up the hill - an interesting exercise. The nice site man in the yellow jacket stopped the traffic going to the beach allowing us to exit safely in one go.

Ik was blij met Location of the site, facilities were fine. Campsite restaurant was open most of the time. Pitch was a good size.

Ik was niet blij met Toilet paper outside the cubicles, take your own in much easier.

Ik was blij met Liked everything about this campsite. Brilliant location and beautiful beach beside it. Close to Bilbao so perfect for our 1st on arrival and final night before flight home. Great restaurants around it too. Facilities were pristine.
