Ook de volgende rassen zijn niet welkom: de staffordshire-bulterriër, Amerikaanse staffordshireterriër, rottweiler en mastiff.

Dit park krijgt overwegend positieve feedback voor uitzonderlijke netheid, perfect onderhouden faciliteiten en een toplocatie aan de rivier, met gemakkelijke toegang tot het stadje. Ik was blij met We enjoyed everything, perfect location to explore the surrounding areas on bikes.
Supermarket 100m away. Beach 150m away. Restaurants and bars 150m away.
Swimming pool quiet, camping site small with no children. Showers and toilets spotless.
Cedric was so friendly and helpful.
We could not of asked more from our stay, we will be returning.

Ik was blij met LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. The cleanliness EVERYWHERE. Fully serviced pitch. The pool area was spotless the showers were 5* They even have a microwave in the pot washing area. Can’t fault it. Great email communication. Will absolutely be back.

Ik was blij met This was our favourite site this year. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Excellent immaculate facilities. Great location by river with a short walk into town. Bread in the morning. We enjoyed a wonderful picnic in the ground of the nearby Chateau. We have good experiences of municipal sites in France.

Ik was blij met Great location with a nice walk along the river into Sable-sur-Sarthe. Great value for a campsite with a pool, play area and animals to feed. Nice spacious pitches. Well maintained. We try to come here every year!

Ik was blij met 2nd year staying here, and just as decent 2nd time round. Good stop over on the way South or back North to Calais. We stayed 2 days this time and visited the local town, only a short walk/cycle away. Pool very clean, just a bit cold over a long period for little kids, my 4 year old struggled.
Electric on every pitch, but make sure you fill up with water in a camper before you enter using the motorhome service point outside (small charge for this).
Facilities great and clean.

Ik was blij met Everything. The staff are very friendly and work very hard. You get to choose your own pitch. We liked pitch 13 which was a big space for our family and our large tent. While we were staying, there were a mixture of tents, caravans and camper vans and there are some chalets on-site. The site is clean. The wifi is good. The facilities (two blocks of toilets/showers with washing up sinks) are cleaned regularly. The swimming pool area is really good and we loved using the pool and buying an ice cream at the Hippo bar. You get to order pastries and bread for the next day. There’s even some animals on the site (goats, sheep and chickens). And you can use the TV room which has a communal fridge and freezer. The site is in a quiet location near the river Sarthe and the hippodrome/sports facilities (which occasionally hosts horse racing - once during the two weeks we were there). Sablé is a 15 minute walk from the campsite along the river. It’s a small quiet town with a few restaurants and shops. There are big supermarkets nearby like L’Eclerc, Super U and Carrefour, easy to drive to. It’s easy to catch a train from Sablé to Paris which takes under 2 hours (we changed at Le Mans on the way there). It’s a 50 minute drive to Le Mans - worth seeing the lights in the old town in the summer (starts at 9.30pm). It’s an hour north of the Loire river. We visited the castle in Brissac. We enjoyed visiting Sainte Suzanne et Chammes, a pretty village 30 minutes north of the campsite with a fort overlooking the valley. We had a fantastic time at Camping de L’Hippodrome. A very well run site. And you even get to leave at your leisure on the final day. Definitely value for money.

Ik was blij met Lovely site, very clean & tidy. Huge pitches with good access. Friendly helpful staff. The site is on the river Sarthe & the walk along the racecourse brings you to the town passing the beautiful chateau. We have never done a municipal site before but will definitely do them again. Nice play area & swimming pool.

Ik was blij met Absolutely loved this site. You can see the pride the staff have in their campsite. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the facilities were excellent and we loved our stay here. Unfortunately we were only passing through but I'd have been happy staying here much longer.
