Stunning location next to LARGE SANDY BEACH at Lligwy on East Coast of Anglesey, North Wales, with spectacular panoramic views of the sea, beach, dramatic coastline & countryside. A 2 minute WALK TO THE SAND and coastal path. It's beautiful unspoilt character and natural landscape remains to this day. It has mature native hedgerows filled with wild flowers and wildlife. A wonder peaceful and tranquil setting. An ALL GRASS site of 4 fields. Pitches (pre allocated) around edges of field with 6m(20ft) fire break between units. Flat and slightly sloping pitches. Arrivals only after 2.00pm but before 8pm Departures by 11.00am NO NOISE AFTER 10.30pm. Radios, TV's & music MUST NOT be heard AT ANY TIME outside any unit. No driving on/off/around site after dark to 8am. Security gates allow 24 walking access with key fob (£20 cash deposit each). Parking area for cars returning after sunset/early am use. Dogs allowed only: on short leads at all times, not left unattended, exercised/walked off (not around) site - beach allows dogs all year. NO bar or playground

Do not rely on Sat Nav or any internet postcode systems as they direct you down an inappropriate road and or down a farm track to a different property. A55 - past Bangor and cross the Britannia Bridge onto Anglesey, take the second exit marked A5025 Benllech/Amlwch. Continue on A5025, through Benllech until you arrive at the Moelfre Roundabout with an anchor on it. Take last exit A5108 to Moelfre. Continue down hill and take first left after a Fish and Chip shop on your left. Drive out of village for one mile until you come to a crossroad. Turn right to "Traeth Lligwy Beach" (also a dead end sign). Turn left through the first gateway where there is a sign for Dafarn Rhos Caravan and Camping Site. If you go too far you will end up in the car park for Lligwy Beach.

Lokale bezienswaardigheden

Coastal Path: 1-2 minutes walk from the site. It goes in two direction from the beach, one follows the cliff edge to the village of Moelfre, the other along cliffs, coves and beaches to Dulus Estuary, then inland over a hill to the Pilot Boat Inn. Ancient Monument Site; Din Lligwy and a neolithic and early Bronze Age burial chamber and a derelict church all withing a 10 minutes walk of the site. Moelfre: 1 mile away by road - 2 miles by coastal path. A picturesque fishing village with a long maritime history and a small sheltered shingle bay with a working Lifeboat station, Seawatch Centre, shipwreck monuments, commemorative sculptures, village store, pub, cafes and restaurant. There are numerous indoor and outdoor places to visit both for dry and wet weather days on the Island. Snowdonia is about a 20 minute drive from the site. Holyhead is about 45 minute drive from the site - catch a ferry to Dublin for the day
