Feeling adventurous? If so, you really ought to be heading for Adventure Parc, 10 minutes’ drive from Trefriw in Eryri National Park, North Wales. This is a place where you can happily dedicate yourself to sport during the day, refuel at the on-site café and then lay your (probably exhausted) head in a wooden camping pod. The camping pods themselves are not for glampers but they’re comfortable, cosy and wonderfully basic – think four walls, a roof, a door, a mat, a light and a place to charge your phone (and sleep, of course). Each one caters for up to four people (one double mattress and two singles) and they are just the job for schools and groups, or families and friends wanting to test their fitness (and bravery) levels on all sorts of activities. Once on site, get ready for high-octane challenges, big thrills and a seriously fun day out for all ages at one of the UK’s most extreme indoor activity centres. Here you can go indoor climbing, free-fall jumping and caving, or have a go at mountain biking and BMX biking. There’s also a soft-play adventure playzone for toddlers and younger children to enjoy in a fun environment. If, after all of that, you want a little TLC, the site is a five-minute walk from a spa, bar and grill at the site's sister location.

Honden

  • Op deze camping zijn hondenrassen/kruisingen die in de 'lijst met hoog-risico honden op agressief gedrag' zijn opgenomen, niet toegestaan (zoals de pitbullterriër, tosa, Argentijnse dog en fila brasileiro). Ook de volgende rassen zijn niet welkom: de staffordshire-bulterriër, Amerikaanse staffordshireterriër, rottweiler en mastiff.

Huuraccommodatie

  • Gasten moeten hun eigen dekbedden, kussens, lakens en handdoeken meebrengen als ze in een huuraccommodatie overnachten. Neem je deze spullen niet mee, dan mag je hier niet blijven.

Campingpod

Ik was blij met The pod was perfect for four. The area is quite at night.

Ik was niet blij met The facilities were poorly maintained. The bins were full, only one out of four toilet spaces were equipped with toilet paper, the showers were dirty--human hair blocking the drains--doors were missing, the lockers were full of rubbish, etc. We got the impression that they invested a lot of money in the development of the facilities, but none to maintain them.

Ik was blij met Great location, cosy pods, good facilities kids loved the activities.

Ik was niet blij met Not very clean. Lots of small things broken like lights, taps, curtain rails, soap dispensers, would be easy fixes. Could do with some hooks in the toilets and shelves in the pods would be helpful.
